I wonder if Bioware is still tweaking Morrigan's apperaance. It has changed so much over the course of development that it is hard to tell what exactly she will look like. I'd say that the first and the last pics are my favorite.

I like the bottom three a lot, especially the ones from the trailer. I don't like the other ones because she looks too gothic.

The fact that she refuses to answer Alistair doesn't confirm that she is ignorant of the religion.
I get the impression that she is familiar with its tenets on at least a basic level. She may not understand all of its nuances, e.g. what caused the schism between the Imperial Chantry and its Orlesian counterpart, etc., but she knows that it's a monotheistic religion which preaches redemption through a personal savoir.
There are several occasions when she references Andrastianism:
*snip*
And none of this tells us how much she actually knows. It has been a very long time since I played DAO, but I think I remember that Morrigan didn't recognize the statue of Maferath somewhere. I'm really no fan of the Chantry as well, but I can't take any "critic" seriously if they don't even know such basic things about what they criticize.

I don't think one has to be versed in the intricacies of Chantry doctrine and history to be able to criticize the religion. Morrigan was hunted by Templars as a child. I'm sure that for her, that's enough to form an opinion on the church.
Is she going to construct an academic treatise on the Cult of Andraste anytime soon? No, probably not.
And, do you think Morrigan sings this to her son in his nursery?
The bottom pic is my favorite
Morrigan has always been gorgeous, but that last pic has my googly eyes goin ~

These are great, thank you ![]()
Here's another for good measure:
I really wish that the crow imagery in the Inquisition promotional materials had been alluding to Morrigan. She remindes me of the Irish goddess, and it would have been a treat to see her flying around accompanying the Inquisitor ![]()
I actually see her as being a much better mother than Morganna le Fey there, but the loyalty, loyalty, loyalty part sounds about right.

Speaking of that Kid, Morrigan did say at the end of Witch Hunt that he doesn't know he has the soul of an Old God, right?
I wonder if she told him in the past 10 years? Would he be training to use his awesome Old God powers now?
Seeing Morrigan in that getup would make my day.
(the character, I mean
)
That makes her really look like Flemeth's Daughter. Which is a good Thing. Sort of.
I can't wait to meet with Morrigan in inquisition, but I'm worried about what her quest is. My inquisitor has no reason to trust her like my warden did and I can see her plans at least coming off as a risk to the inquisition. I hope her quest isn't anything too weird sounding...and that her social skills have grown in the last 10 years so she doesn't come off too suspicious to work with.
Although now that I think about it whatever quest she has is probably mandatory.

Thoughts on the Gaider quote below?
Someone posed a question to him via his blog:
Hello Mr. Gaider, I'm not sure if you answered this yet, but what was, for you, the hardest character/moment to write in any of the games you've been a part of?
His response was as follows:
I’d say the hardest moment actually occurs in DAI, which I can’t discuss yet for obvious reasons. Maybe I will after the game comes out, though I suspect you’ll know the moment to which I’m referring when you come across it.
Kind of worried that he is referring to Morrigan ... I suppose he could be talking about Cassandra, since he is also her lead writer.

It will definitely be interesting to try and separate previous experience from current and try not to support her out of reflex and prior association!
Should be fun!
those are beautiful
Morrigan, I can't wait to see her in the game! And why do you guys think she was with Cullen and the Inquisitor?

If he kills her off then he killed off Dragon Age and there's no reason for me to follow this story anymore.
Some people might disagree.
Morrigan and Flemeth are my two favorite characters. I hope to have some confirmation on Sandal and Flemeth being old gods, too within the games.
Chantment!
Morrigan's friendship speech really moved me. I wish I had more golden mirrors for her.

It could be the result of a bad decision you could make in the game. This is as far as I would go with that idea however unless the OGB is going to be more trouble than we thought. It would be horrible if he kills Morrigan for some reason. Not sure what having a soul of an old god does to someone, but I hope he does not become just another crazy abomination that goes on a rampage for power. I'm assuming though that Morrigan knows more about the properties of the old god souls than we do as players so I'm going to guess she knows what she is doing and who knows? Maybe the old god child hasn't really reached that stage where he realizes what exactly is inside him. I do not uave a clue as to how Morrigan is raising the boy assuming you made the choice to do the dark ritual of course. ![]()
I only did the old god baby once for the achievement, I wonder how her quest differs if she was friends with the warden but they refused the ritual.

I would like to know as well. She seemed pretty bent on getting the OGB. Maybe he is needed for something. She did say that Flemeth told her about the ritual, but I am not sure if she did the ritual because Flemeth told her to or if she has her own agenda.

I have a feeling Sandal is more than a dwarf but not an Old God. He is something alright and Flemeth? Could Azura's daughter.

Let us pray that Morrigan is still around for DAV and more. I doubt there gonna kill her off but if soo..I love this game too much to not play the sequels to DAI but I will sadly depress.
