Am I the only one bothered by Alistair's incorrect green eyes?
He has hazel-brown eyes, dammit! Blond hair and brown eyes. ![]()

It could be a coloring mistake; bigger ones have been made with people's skin color in the past (in comic books). It is nice to see Yavana address that there was something to what Morrigan said.
An alliance with either one would depend on what the overall goal is, but I suspect she already got what she was looking for from the Eluvian in the Dragonbone Wastes.
That's likely. I was never sure if Morrigan was actually searching for something lost in 'eluvian land' (elven magic of some sort) or was simply hiding from Flemeth. The former makes the most sense since Morrigan has returned.
Regardless, the experience wouldn't have been pleasant for her as a human and she's probably not eager to jump in there again.

So what happens to the Warden (if non-elf) and Morrgian when they go through the mirror. Does she have some Eluvian manual that allows her to mess with the settings? Was that what the book from Arianne's clan was?

I think Morrigan simply needed the elven tome to activate the Eluvian, since she leaves it behind (along with the mysterious "gift"). Perhaps Flemeth's grimore is how she knew about what laid behind the portal of that specific Eluvian.

I meant physically. Aren't they [eluvians] tailored to Elvhen physiology?
You mean like the eluvians were to somehow scan the pointiness of one's ears when trying to pass through?

Haven't read TME. But that piece of lore is in there apparently.

TDKR is right.
The Eluvians allow humans through but it takes a toil on their bodies and minds; elves, on the other hand, feel at home there.

It's unknown, although I suppose Ariane ends up with it once the Warden leaves with Morrigan beyond the Eluvian.
As for how the other realm would effect them, I suppose Morrigan would be weakened, as a human, while an elven Warden would feel much better (if they are in a similar area as the one in TME). Morrigan would experience disorientation and physical discomfort, while my elven mage Warden would feel jubiliant, he would be able to move more quickly, and the realm would respond to him and fill with color at his touch.
It's either a non-issue or Morrigan has figured a way around it, I'd say.
This is partially my own headcanon and may end up being inaccurate, but I figured that Witch Hunt was far from the first time she had gone through one and was obviously fine.

When they said "the gift" I think they were referring to Yavana's words, which said the possession was "a gift."

I had gotten the sense that it was maybe her second time through, as the first time she took the child through to another dimension.
Now though, who knows how much hopping she's done through the mirrors. On top of that, she seems to be able to use them to travel to somewhere that seems unlike the inbetween world or the Fade, cause I don't believe she'd the leave the child within the inbetween world.

Ah, gotcha. Given how Yavana may be the same Witch of the Weyrs who granted immortality to Xenon the Antiquarian three hundred years ago, I suppose she may see Flemeth's ritual as a gift.

I have always wondered why Morrigan was specifically chosen though. Why not Yavana?
I figured that she would've placed a ton of magical wards and some sort of stasis spell on the kid while she was away, since the child would be far, far too young to be left alone and too little time has passed since DAO for me to consider it feasible that Morrigan has met someone that she's close enough to and who she trusts enough to look after the child. So I could see the child being in this inbetween world.

Pride Demon!Uldred also refers to possession as a 'gift'. Perhaps Yavana is possessed by a 'piece' of Flemeth as she would put it.
I have to wonder, though...Is Morrigan really a human? If she is Flemeths biological daughter (which I tend to believe), then she would be...at least half of whatever Flemeth is? All I know is that golden is not an eye color associated with humans. Theories, but could explain why she can use the Eluvian without any apparent ill effects.
I'm betting whatever Flemeth is, is tied to her soul and not her biology, so would not be passed down to her daughters.
Mmh...I'd agree with you but, apparently, souls affect the bodies in thedas. Abominations are after all biological bodies that have their original souls replaced by fade spirits. Who knows, maybe Flemeth performs her own version of the 'dark ritual' with every daughters conception. No, not old gods but...something other than human. Magic makes things like these complicated >.<I'm betting whatever Flemeth is, is tied to her soul and not her biology, so would not be passed down to her daughters.

That or she learned to lessen the effects it would have on her or was never in there long enough to have the negative effects on her get too bad.
Flemeth expected her to be pregnant with Urthemiel by the time the ritual was supposed to happen?
I got the impression that Flemeth made sure to have Morrigan able to find the warden in time for the archdemon's death. Morrigan may never have been in danger of Flemeth's possession at all, since Yevanna was already prepared for the role of host already..
