What is everyone's favorite Morrigan moment in DA:O? I would have to say my favorite is when she gives the warden the ring. It is a cute moment for her where the gift is a sign of her loving the warden, but at the same time she does her best to hide her feelings. She tries to make giving the ring all about practicality when sentimentality is clearly an influence.

Only if you don't romance her. She's the sweetest of all possible romances in DAO.

Uh...what? She has the most emotion I believe but as for sweetest I don't see it. The whole we need to break up thing was rather annoying. Along with how there was that conversation where you ask her to sleep with you and she refuses then no matter what you say she chews you out. In truth leliana and alistar have the sweetest romance options. Poor zevran

That's a good one but when the warden gets trapped in the prison andshe says I know where he is. Of course I just love how she has that cocky tone

As far as serious moments go? Probably when she tells the Warden about Flemeth breaking her golden mirror as a child. It certainly painted her in a much more fragile light than we are used to.

Her final word at the Denerim gate, for the female Warden/Morrigan friendship in my case.

W: "Then if I don't get to say it later...let me thank you now, for everything you've done."

M: "You are most welcome. I consider it the very least I can do. I had no concept of friendship before meeting you...but know I will always consider you such. Live well, my friend. Live gloriously."

Claudia Black blew it out of the ballpark so much I swear onion ninjas had infiltrated my household.

That line gave me more feels than probably any other line in the game. More than any romance lines, even. So I choose that as my favorite Morrigan moment, too. 

 

I refused the DR on my first playthrough and really paid for it. :| Plus I didn't get that line. I'm glad I played more files and gave her friendship a chance.

I wasn't a huge fan of that look. Something about her face just seemed ... off.

She had no teeth in that trailer. I like the way she looks now, and I like that they gave her big ears. She looks like my cousin.

Well, I'd have used a gif of Loki, but there's never any shots of him travelling via Bifrost. Particularly as I could totally see Tom Hiddleston's Loki as being what the adult version of Old God Baby would probably look like, especially if he ended up being a Mage.

Mental note: if I ever have to find creative ways of staying up over 30 hours again after today, I should read the entire Morrigan thread a second time. This has been quite useful in keeping me conscious and I thank all who have contributed. 

 

On topic, I want to say that it's pretty great we'll be seeing Morrigan in at least two outfits in the game. The more the merrier. Different attire really helps to reinforce that she's an at least somewhat pivotal part of the narrative and I couldn't be happier for that.

There's a specific conversation. You have to be a male Warden that's not in a relationship, is friends with her, haven't flirted with her before, killed Flemeth, and gave her the Grimoire. She'll be confused at the Warden's motives. The Warden answers because they're friends and then she'll ask if the Warden has ever thought of them being more than friends. You know the rest.

 

Easily my favorite exchange in the series. You get to experience Morrigan at her most vulnerable in this conversation. She's almost shy about asking the Warden to spend the night with her.

 

That's my favorite as well. I got that on my first and only playthrough back in January. I didn't actually romance Morrigan, but I thought that was a great, great scene.

Last E3's morrigan looked pretty bad, this one looks nice and Origins-y.

Her conversation with the Warden at Denerim's Gates was heart-wrenching (and the reason why people who claim Morrigan has no heart continue to dumbfound me).

At that point, the DR is done. She has no reason to lie, and sincerely conveys her regret over the fact that circumstance and her own stubbornness (in part) kept her from allowing her relationship with the warden to grow further sentimentally, which was at the core of what she'd been searching for the whole time.

Let's just say my cat punched a hole in my roof, and it was raining inside.
