Ah, at last a thread about a character I actually want to discuss. Not that there's a great deal to discuss at this point for the lack of knowledge about her role in DAI. Even so, when she appeared in the first DAI trailer I knew I wouldn't be able to pass up this game.
I am somewhat worried about the possible character development they'll give her. While I wouldn't mind some softening of her attitude, I wouldn't want her to turn into another "good girl" type. That might not matter for my Inquisitors since they don't know her from the past, but it would certainly matter for me.

There are several Morrigan threads floating about (including a four-year old one on the DA:O forum), but all of them are inactive as far as I can tell. Hence why I created this one.

Understandable, but that one above was created for this part of the forum as a support thread. Usually you bump threads like that one (which isn't old) instead of creating a new one.

My apologies. I knew about the DA:O thread which Brockololly created, but I was unaware that there was a Morrigan thread on the Inquisition forum already.
Should I bump Jerome's or keep this one going? Doesn't really matter to me.

1. Bioware has already said that the story of Inquisition is "Morrigan's moment," so I highly doubt that she will just be a spectator.
2. Even if you elected to stab Morrigan at the end of Witch Hunt, there is no proof that she actually dies. She just falls through the Eluvian.

Yep. Plus the whole attempt to kill only for character to dramatically fall back into a pit/whatever and end up alive is an really old trope.

Heck even the option to stab her says attack, where everyother dialog option that led to cini death always said kill.
This is just the old rule. If you don't have the body, don't rule it out.

For me personally she the best character in the entire DA series, everything from her VA to her one liners are great, again for me this is the model of a nigh perfect character in a bioware game an ive yet to see anything of her standard since, be great to see her in DA:I if just to have a wee chin wag about what she been upto an she alone is the reason i stick my middle finger up at all those who dont want to see the warden back because i sure as hell do an with her'
Out of all the characters revealed for DA:I she an only she has perked my interest, the rest pale in comparison, i just hope the writing of her is just as good if not better as DA:O if she playing a major role

wolfen doesnt think its confusing, wolfen thinks the rest of you not referring to yourselves in third person is weird.
Anyway, with morrigan being such a "big" character in terms of story impact for bioware, i really find it surprising they didnt make the OGB cannon. As for her role in DA:I, she will probably help the inquisition in a way that furthers her goals. As for the breach, she probably wants us to get it closed kinda like how flemeth wanted us to end the blight in DA:O

I just wish that Morrigan was part of your team. She was my number 1 as female and male grey wardens. I am going to close my eyes and hope that Morrigan is on the team again.
