So Morrigan and the Warden are married?I say this because when the Inqiz ask if she is married she kind implies she is i almost cried when she implied that lol

 

In every sense of the word that matters, regardless of any formal ceremony or legal standing. They're together, devoted to each other, love one another, and are dedicated to raising their child together.

In case you were curious, a certain young boy in #DAI named Kieran was voiced by @TheClaudiaBlack's own son, the delightful Odin Black.

Regarding Kieran.

While I pretty much love every line the Black family speaks, the first meeting with Kieran is easily the most profound dialogue in the game.

 

Kieran: "So you're the Inquisitor! I thought you'd be scarier. Mother said you were scary."

Inq: "To some people I am the most scary thing in the world."

Kieran: Mother said people would say the same thing about me. If only they knew."

 

The lines can easily be reserved to reveal the player's feeling:

 

Player: "So you're the old god child! I thought you'd be scarier. Some folks on BSN said you were scary, like a miniboss or something."

Kieran: "To some players I am the most scary thing in the world."

Player: "People should say that about my Inquisitor. If only they knew."

 

In that moment, I really thought there was a rift in the fourth wall.

But then Morrigan came around and closed it again.

She goes from this new Morrigan who is in love with a child to the funny, sarcastic one from the start of Origins. Love it.

 

She and the Warden are still my favourite story in Dragon age I think.

I just wish she would leave my castle and go join him already, she said she's leaving after Corypheus is dead. And then she said she's leaving in the epilogue....and she's still standing in the garden, looking at the tree.

Hey guys! Just completed the game after staying in my room without leaving it for like...3-4 days. Anyway, I was super excited when Morrigan showed up at the ball and was really hoping lots of back-story, drama and dialog options with the history of my Warden and Leiliana (literally the only person in game who knows Morrigan).

 

However, disappointment set in when Leiliana and Morrigan appeared to not know each other at all! Suffice to say I was quite upset. Can someone explain why? I tried talking to Leiliana a lot and all that came up was about her vote to be the new Divine, it's like they never knew each other... 

 

Here are some things that I suspect may have caused this lack of recognition,

 

1) I did the Empress Celene quest way late into the game, I basically hunted like 4-5 dragons and my level was 20 or early 20's.

2) I believe I completed the "Make contact with the Hero of Ferelden" quest before I started the Empress Celene's ball quest.

 

The only thing I got out of Morrigan was describing how she was "close to the Warden" and it was "hard to leave him" (they completed the ritual to have the baby but was not fully romanced in my DA:O play-through). I understand if you romanced her back then and if Kiernan was out of love then a lot more backstory as dialog options. 

 

Also, the stabbing of her everyone is talking about, is this in the DA:O DLC? (I did not play any DLCs until DA:2)

I really liked the character development with Morrigan with Kieran (and surprised/glad to find the VA to be her actual son! XD)

Leliana mentions Morrigan twice: Before Morrigan appears, Leliana says that she knows this person (without mentioning Morrigan's name), that she cruel and unkind, just saying things to hurt people.

Later on, Leliana comments on how Morrigan softened up and became much nicer, probably due to being a mother and the influence of her son.

 

Stabbing: DAO DLC: Witch hunt.

 

It's basicly three hours of running around, only to have one very important, enigmatic scene with Morrigan in front of an Eluvian. She wants to go through it alone. You can either convince her to join her (in that case, her last words are "then come, my love"), let her go, or stab her, so she falls backwards into the eluvian. No matter what you do, this concludes DAO -- and sets up DAI.

Even so, interaction between them would have been fascinating.  Perhaps Cole could have said one thing for a human Kieran and another for Uthermikieran?

Though I always sort of wondered whether Morrigan resented normal!Kieran for not being Urthemiel!Kieran and thus saving his father's life (if he died).

I just saw that Morrigan's emotional moment and... wow... I nearly teared up. That was a really powerful scene. Honestly? Didn't expect Bioware could pull it off but they did. Such an amazing character. That entire scene will be forever one of my favourite moments in Bioware's game now. F**king amazing.

That was the idea.  It could have even been one of the words of crazy he speaks when you interact with him. 

 

Maybe if they do a Citadel-DLC we'll get a scene of repeatedly finding Cole and Kieran in weird places.  Turns out Kieran is teaching him how to play hide-and-seek.  Or wardens and darkspawn, that could be funny.

I was disappointed Morrigan hardly mentioned my Warden at all. They were basically sisters. I suppose I should have expected that when there were no choices for her relationship beyond romancing her in the Keep. :/

Finally finished my first playthrough.

 

Totally needed some Aaryn Flynn gifs once I got to hear Morrigan talk about Kieran, the Warden and their life together. Her voice had such warmth. Other than actually playing as the Warden, this was everything I could've hoped for. Other than being happy with her relationship with the Warden being stronger than ever, I also feel a bit vindicated for calling it ahead of time that she would be very devoted to being the best mother she could possibly be, giving her son the childhood she never had. 

 

Hearing her beg the woman she has despised and run from for so long to take her and spare her son was rough in a very, very good way.

 

Odin Black is a name worthy of someone born with the soul of a god.

I only wish we could have gotten to speak to him one on one and have him let things alip about his nature and parentage before his quest.

Also think Flemeth is genuinely upset Morrigan is scared of her.
