Yes. Explain to me, what about that Post is mysogynistic? He just wonders about the possible outcome of a Situation that strikes him as "odd".

It sounds like it was written by a 16 year old and gives the impression that women are discardable objects.

"I'm kind of wondering what will happen to her kid if you knocked her up with a non OGB and left her for Zevran before the romance got beyond a quick sack.Seriously I found out that happened because I quickly did her for the romance achievement before romancing Zevran. It was a bit odd of a revelation. Think she'll bother holding onto a possibly entirely unmagical half dwarven child?"

Also, why do you bother frequenting this thread Feybrad. We are all aware of the fact that you don't like Morrigan, message received. Move on. I don't like Leliana, ergo I don't waste my time posting on Leliana's thread.

Mostly because I am bored. Next, because I am interested in other People's Opinion about her. And third, because I felt like your Reaction to that Post was a tad aggressive. I do understand your Reasons, but I doubt he or she wrote that with "mysogynistic" Intent. Just a poor Choice of Words. But anyway, no need to attack other People.

Fair enough. Perhaps I was a bit too harsh. I'll toss you a like for that response.

Probably one of the many, many bugs DAO has.

I don't know though if I'd sacrifice Loghain just to have a normal kid though.

It isn't a bug. It's confirmed in Witch Hunt that Morrigan had a son with the Warden (if there was a romance) even if he declined the Dark Ritual. My very first playthough was like this.

Well then it's going to be a tough choice between sacrificing the baby or sacrificing Loghain/Alistair once the keep hits.

I have a world-state with a Dalish warrior that romanced Morrigan (she was pregnant when she left the party), but made the Ultimate Sacrifice. I think it's probably the most bittersweet ending in DA:O. Got all teary eyed I did. But it was a Battear so it was badass.

Something just came to mind which I haven't really thought about before: if you play the mage in DA:Origins, it really adds a whole other layer to the events of DA II.

My male mage warden killed Flemeth at the behest of Morrigan, and then his cousin (Hawke, also a member of the Amell family) ended up reviving Flemeth shortly thereafter. Oh, the irony.

Kind of adds a nice symmetry to the whole narrative ...

Warden + Morrigan

Hawke + Flemeth

If bioware ever presents the warden and hawke together, I could just imagine the fight between them if they had to choose a side.

Who do you think would win between the two pairs?

Well, the warden was able to kill Flemeth once. Stands to reason that he could do it a second time.

Then again, Morrigan did seem to be pretty terrified of Flemeth at the end of Witch Hunt.

*scratches head in confusion*

I don't think a death counts if you actually just put yourself in a necklace and got a family of hobos to take you cross country.

Fair enough.

Flemeth was, however, for all intents and purposes dead, and if Hawke had decided, "Ah, screw it, I don't have enough time for this" and tossed the necklace down a well, she would have been pretty screwed. Hawke had to schlep it all the way to the Dalish camp and perform a ritual on it, her survival wasn't guaranteed.

Well, I don't know it for certain, just saying how I see it.

Flemeth gave no indication that there were other amulets floating around as life insurance policies.

And the fact that Flemeth was dependent upon a "hobo" to transport her necklace to the Dalish camp highlights the limitations of her power. If she were able to magically resurrect unaided (à la Gandalf) after being struck down, I would be more impressed.

Morrigan did soften towards the end of DA:Origins....she said she had never had a friend and thanked me for being a good friend to her. Even her tone of speech had softened.

But before all that, yes, she was a right sarcastic character.

Well, I hope we do get some information on what went on after Witch Hunt. Mainly, I'd like to know what happened to Morrigan and my Warden, but I don't know if we'll be able to get that far. One can hope, right?

What I don't understand is that the amulet activates no matter if she was killed or not, suggesting there could be multiple shards of her existing at the same time. Following that train of thought we don't know whether the Flemeth who raised Morrigan wasn't just another shard.

@ Beto - I'm sure at the bare minimum we will learn what happened to the warden and Morrigan. Cameron Lee et al. have said that "the choices you made in the previous games will have a significant impact," that Morrigan's various states (i.e. a mother or not) will be acknowledged, and that Morrigan's role is more than just a cameo. I'm still holding out hope that the Warden might appear. Mike Laidlaw said it was a "non-zero," so I take that to me it is at least theoretically possible.

@ Schreckstoff - I think you're wrong about the amulet activating whether Flemeth is killed or not. The Dragon Age wiki says that Flemeth appearing to Hawke and co. at the beginning of DAII "occurs during the fall of Lothering to the darkspawn hordes, it is before the Warden can perform Morrigan's quest to kill Flemeth." The amulet requires a Dalish ritual to be enacted upon it before it activates:

(Source: Dragon Age wiki)

After giving the amulet to the keeper and performing a Dalish ritual upon it, Flemeth is reborn, as she stored a part of herself within it. She reveals this was a form of security in case Morrigan was successful in convincing the Warden to kill her.

It's possible I'm mistaken, though. With Flemeth, you can never know.

EDIT: I get what you're saying Schreckstoff. I think I misread your post originally. Perhaps Bioware is assuming that killing Flemeth in DA:O is canon, regardless of whether players actually did what Morrigan asked or not? I'm not sure.

I love Morrigan!

When she views a female Warden as a sister  :crying: I could never have stabbed her!

I hope she still feels the same in Inquisition, I don't want non-romance relationships with her swept under the rug!

(Especially seen as my Warden is Queen too! Hopefully King Alistair and Morrigan have put their differences behind them to help look for the Warden)

Yeah that's what I meant and clarification from Bioware would be nice.

The "resurrection" scene occurs no matter whether Flemeth was killed or not in DA:O, this suggests she wasn't so much resurrected but split in that case. Maybe Flemeth goes and unites with her other part if she wasn't killed in DA:O or something.
