@ Beto - I'm sure at the bare minimum we will learn what happened to the warden and Morrigan. Cameron Lee et al. have said that "the choices you made in the previous games will have a significant impact," that Morrigan's various states (i.e. a mother or not) will be acknowledged, and that Morrigan's role is more than just a cameo. I'm still holding out hope that the Warden might appear. Mike Laidlaw said it was a "non-zero," so I take that to me it is at least theoretically possible.

 

Well, here's hoping.

I'm resorting to the mobile game (Heroes of Dragon Age) to get my Morrigan fix, nowadays...

 

 

Yeah that's what I meant and clarification from Bioware would be nice.

 

The "resurrection" scene occurs no matter whether Flemeth was killed or not in DA:O, this suggests she wasn't so much resurrected but split in that case. Maybe Flemeth goes and unites with her other part if she wasn't killed in DA:O or something.

 

I was quite sure to have read somewhere that that was exactly what had happened regarding Flemeth - the whole "splitting" thing. A quick search didn't turn out anything, tho.

Not necessarily, there was this pair that got twins, one was black the other white.

Also liked the mod that restored the scene. Hopefully they won't have to cut too many of great scenes like that in DA:I.

Yeah, but weren't they white? It be totally different if the couple that was black. Also, that be a cheap cop out. Ever since DAO when you make yourself black and your whole family is white, I wouldn't forget Bioware. And besides, they could easily do what they did in DA2 with your family's features being based of your choices in CC.

Her last name was never given. We also don't know who her father is. For all we know, she probably sprouted from the ground on Flemeth's doorstep.

If you chose to go with Morrigan, as is the premise, then your Warden clearly compromised his goal just to be with Morrigan.

Also being a parent can profoundly change people.

How that? The Warden's task was done, he was free to do what he wanted. Also, yeah, it *can*. Or not. The question is how much I'd want it to, in this specific case.

My opinion purely on assumption, but Mike Laidlaw and I think Mark Darrah has said a few times that they have mapped out a lot of the stories that they want to do for DA. Even to the point that at least the main story for Inquisition they started back on Origins. So I have a strong feeling that Morrigan and Flemeth are going to be playing crucial roles in DA for awhile. Maybe it's just me but I don't think Morrigan is going to be killed off, either by the player or something else, at least in Inquisition. Of course that may be biased assumption on my part. Since Morrigan is my favorite. To the point that my first playthrough I couldn't stand her through most of the game. I romanced Leliana and actually accidentally romanced Morrigan and in the end ended it with Leliana. Cause I grew to like Morrigan more.

I'm sure most of you have seen this, but I thought it might be worth posting for the one or two of you who haven't. It's the Dragon Age Revelation comic, created by Aimo in collaboration with David Gaider. I think it really casts Morrigan's character in a whole new, softer light. David Gaider said that its stated purpose was to "give some context to the player who romances Morrigan or who had become really good friends with her that what she was about to do was causing her conflict."

1. That's kind of silly. GoT isn't popular because every character is killed off at some point. It is popular because George Martin is an excellent writer, the world is fully developed and believable, and the political machinations of the various families are intriguing.

 

2. If you don't like fan art, best to unsubscribe from this thread, because I will continue posting it.

That was in the E3 Trailer. Yes, that's Morrigan next to Cullen in the lion head and the Inquisitor.

Unless there just happens to be another female character in the game with an identical haircut, pale skin and the same kind of robes that Morrigan wore in DA:O, I'd say that's pretty certainly her.
