Unless there just happens to be another female character in the game with an identical haircut, pale skin and the same kind of robes that Morrigan wore in DA:O, I'd say that's pretty certainly her.
Thanks for the snark, by the way. ![]()

i'm a console player, there was a mod for that?
Yea for pc, I'm a console gamer too but I saw all the scenes of the mod on youtube. It was pretty good. ![]()
Also does anyone think we will learn more about Morrigan and Flemeth's past or will they just focus only on her present role in DA: I?

Isn't she preparing to "do this" with Alistair, right then? That's my perception, at least.

I have to ask this...and I'm hoping others have the answers. But i have read this many times and i get the picture and what David wanted to say in this; however, this last part always gets me. Morrigan speaks to Alister about him loving "her" so we get that the warden is female. My issue is this last two statements" You [im guessing this means the female warden here] knew it could come to this" ... My thoughts here is that Morrigan believes that the warden always knew that she may have to die, willingly, to end the blight.now what i don't get is this:"You warned her"...who is the "you" in here...because i'm guessing the "her" is the warden but who is the you??? ON top of this Morrigan says this as she is walking up the stairs to Alister.Did i miss something...
That was a monologue if I remember correctly. She is most likely referring to herself. Maybe at some point in the story Morrigan warned the warden of the dangers that will come.

I thought Morrigan was talking to herself so she is the 'you'.
She sort of warns the Female Warden that she may not always be worthy of her friendship.

I'm not sure.
If so why did she ask Alistair if asking a friend to do something bad was ok. I got the feeling that she hadn't talked with either of them yet.

Ok now I am understanding. Thank you!

Sorry for the miss spelling...I'm using a smartphone atm and i suck at using it.
Since it seems this particular comic's canon is a female Warden romancing Alistair and a friend to Morrigan, my guess is that this is supposed to take place right before she asks the Warden to talk Alistair into doing the Dark Ritual. Since she has developed a friendship with the Warden, she probably feels guilt over it and an internal struggle (since this is basically the reason she joined the Warden in the first place). Even though Morrigan doesn't get along with Alistair, she probably went to him because he was the closest one to the Warden (because they are together).
I really like the side of Morrigan the comic portrays -- and since my own canon character was a female Warden romancing Alistair who was friends with Morrigan, it was something I could really relate to, having played the game just like that. I would have loved for it to be an actual scene.

Morrigan is not going to be romanceable or a companion in DA:I. That being said, David Gaider and Mike Laidlaw have both said that she will play a major role in the game, and that she will not be reduced to a cameo. Gaider went so far as to refer to Inquisition as "Morrigan's moment."

Oh, of course. I, personally, wouldn't want her to be romanceable, since my warden had a relationship with her. But others might have wanted it - or not.
Anyway, hopefully she'll be given a lot to do in this one, going by your quote. Oh, jeez, why isn't it October yet?

Regarding that scene, that is if the Warden was a she, what about if the Warden is a he? Slight difference in dialogue?

Ah, yes, very nice dialogue. The friendship path is full of gems.
"I want you to know that while I may not always prove... worthy... of your friendship, I will always value it."
They way Claudia Black delivers that line is superb. Much has been talked about "defrosting the ice queen" regarding Morrigan; well, there you could clearly hear the glaciers breaking and melting.

The PC must be in love with Allistar and at friendly with Morrigan.
Edit: So to clarify I have yet to have seen the scene where the PC is male but with mods I am sure it is possible.

or how many are running around t any timeWhat I don't understand is that the amulet activates no matter if she was killed or not, suggesting there could be multiple shards of her existing at the same time. Following that train of thought we don't know whether the Flemeth who raised Morrigan wasn't just another shard.

That reminds me of the time I used to draw. Made a Morrigan's fan art with a lot of experimentation as a gift for an friend. The best pieces of art are the ones you draw for someone else... But it was very fun to draw it. Sadly, I don't have the original here (and it's not as great as the ones you have been posting here).

Some seriously old fanart I did back in DA:O times... Not as beautiful as that last piece, but thought I'd share for fun. c: I might try a redo of it sometime and see how much my skills have improved for comparison.

Question for the day:
As far as religion and spirituallity is concerned, where do you think Morrigan stands?
I will toss out a few salient quotes to get the discussion going.
It's clear that Morrigan isn't a fan of Andrastianism or the Chantry:
- Morrigan to Leliana: "It simply suits my view of the Chantry that one of their devoted sisters should turn out to be so full of hypocrisy."
- (statue of Andraste) "Fools. Praying for help from a prophet they burned and a god who has turned His back on them not once but twice."
- (outside Redcliffe chantry) "Ahh, fresh air. 'Twas difficult to breathe within with all that self-righteousness crowding the air."
- Alistair: So tell me, then: what was the name of Andraste's husband? Morrigan: This is a religious question, not an academic one. Alistair: You're joking, right? A five year-old could answer that question. Do you not know more than a child? Morrigan: I care nothing for your religion. And this game of yours is over.
She also claims to not believe in the Maker:
- Leliana: I'm wondering Morrigan... do you believe in the Maker?
- Morrigan: Certainly not. I've no primitive fear of the moon such that I must place my faith in tales so that I may sleep at night.
Where does that leave her, then? David Gaider has said that Morrigan is not an atheist:
(From Twitter): Neither Morrigan nor the Qun are atheist. If someone prefers to believe that's what their character is, more power to 'em.
Does she believe in animism? Is she a devotee of the Old Gods? When asked why she wanted to perform the Dark Ritual, she simply replied, "Some things are worth preserving."
