Either the PS3 side of the world has way worse match making, or they're full of ninja's? Once I ended up in a Gold match (of which I had to solo cleaning up the rest of wave 5. Don't dare ask how long it took to kill one lone Atlas without armour piercing. >_<). And another to Platinum (me with the TSol Vindicater 1 and level 1 armour ammo. A Geth Engineer with a Geth Pulse Rifle. A Fury with an Eviscerator. And finally a Volus with the most OP weapon, the Desciple!!!! Don't ask me how in the heck that lasted till wave 8?)...

 

All this PS3 gaming with a just starting manifest is making me want to also go play lolSIlver & Bronze with my maxed manifest Ghost Harrier. >_< And maxed Hurricane for everything else!  ... I still so wish these weapons & kits were restricted to Platinum only and that this way it would be a much better ME3mp world... k, time to make some more money...

I'm shocked that the same bugs in the 360 version are also present in the PS3 version. Just entered an ongoing match with a Geth Trooper Flamer spammer where the flamer sound glitched up like it usually does (making it sound like I'M the one always doing the flamer), and drove me nuts. Or in this game's case, "Quit the match." The Guy had a top of the line Harrier in hand too?! Was probably at level 10 too since it's the norm to max manifest and start playing only bronze & silver it seems? (So much for me enjoying some nice challenge with some terrible weapons, pugs & no piercing mods were it takes the power of all of us combined, aka team effort, to tackle an Atlas with some speed ). And it was on Glacier too! Where your one step away from an ammo box! Yet not once have I heard that Harrier gun. Only knew he had it cause I walked up to him, thinking what I usually think "What's wrong with these people?" And happen to have seen it.

 

 

Well, of course my dream of playing with poor weapons & no pierce mods is taking a nose dive fast. Might as well go attend to laundry, got nothing better to do now... or... I could go to my max manifest and enter Bronze & Silver matches and flamer spam myself with both Reeger and Harrier in hand? ... Hmmm....  ... meh, better do laundry, cause it's still sounds way more exciting.

Tomorrow, I think I'll go back to maxed manifest on 360 and start playing Platinum, like I always said I'd do once I maxed manifest? And in there, folks can cheese all they want for all I care, cause that's where it belongs.

I just realized that all my rares are maxed and all I need is the SMG power amp
V then -to-me at least I'm 'done'. Sure most if my UR's are
1-3 but I feel like I've achieved more than I thought I would in ME3MP. The one UR I use most- Harrier is 3 so I'm content with that. I usually use the Arc or CSMG . I just got trolled hard on 600K and got IV ammo no UR upgrades. now I just play until I have 800-k -1 mil and see how RNG trolls me I don't even THINK I getting an UR so when I do, I'm pleasantly surprised.

I only got the KroLord so far (don't like him yet)

Guardian Shields are too buffed! And a weapon does make a make, cause I came in dead last in a Bronze match that took 18 minutes.

 

The free gift pack when I opened it back then was the KroLord & Hurricane. In the Hurricane's case, I'm going to pretend it don't exist (it's like the game is saying to all newcomer pugs "We heard you suck, so here is a crutchcane & KroLord." ).

Plus I hope I get a piercing mod soon so I can cheese them Cerb Atlases and bubbles for extra hits.

Well, I'm thinking of leveling up the Infiltrator, slapping on the Mantis, and moving on to Silver. Once I level up that setup, it's more then enough even for Gold.

And Piercing mods are OP... wish I had an OP piercing mod.

It's really weird that the PS3 swaps the shoulder buttons from up to down and vice versa. Using the very top right trigger to shot feel way to high for comfort. Though having a digital button for tapping fire is preferred, it being so high up just don't feel right at all for when I really want to tap the heck out of it like when I fired up the Predator for one match. BioWare really should of gave us the option to set to buttons however we please. I mean, is programing that in really that complex or too much for these consoles to handle for online play?

Go into the options menu. You can swap the triggers there if it bothers you too much.

Every time I want to use the Talon Merc I have to do that (if I remember that is).

For some reason his button configuration is reversed for me.  None of the other characters are though.

It's all personal comfort really. It feels weird for me to shoot with the Xbox 360 controller or shooting configurations since it's reverse. I can't spam my middle finger as fast as my index finger.

I found that I had way more luck going to the store ASAP after I had just finished a game and have enough to buy an Arsenal Pack. (What I started doing to finish the little,.28 more, I needed to max manifest)

 

And even when I did my massive shopping spree of 63 million big ones that almost maxed my manifest from level 4 average to practically maxed (87 UR total was the result), from every break I took in shopping and came back to shop again, I would again have more luck again. Weird, I know, or just all in my head?

 

 

But again, in the end I still suspect the more you play the more maybe the store shows mercy too? Because the way I finished maxing my manifest here was very shocking. 8 URs in one day where practically every pack was an UR?! Then the next day my first pack gets me another double UR pack when the night before I finished with a double UR pack too? I never in all my playing had anywhere near that much luck.

Human brain is extremely good at seeing patterns, even when they're not there (it has been essential for our survival as a species), and randomness is something that's really hard for us to comprehend. Much of the time it doesn't appear very random at all.

Wow, I can't believe just being able to get stuff from the store again increase the enjoyment of the game so much? I hope ME4 really lives up to replace the fun of this game? And I can't wait to finally be a day 1 player too...

 

And what's with PS3 players constantly picking Cerberus?? Seems like that's all I've been fighting. Though once I selected Collectors in the quick search and was surprised to actually get to fight something else?!

 

 

The PS3 pad really wasn't meant to fit ones hand anywhere near as well as the 360 one which was designed with that in mind. This morning holding the PS3 pad in hand felt so alien. And it's all the shoulder buttons that seem out of reach, and pressing and holding them buttons makes it feel like the gamepad wants to slip out of my hands.  .... Using the D-Pad for an OPs pack while in a hurry and while still trying to outrun some danger is also one heck of reach all the way there to the far left with my right hand.
