Just fired up my Hurricane for the first time in Silver on my Turian Soldier, and wow. I can't believe I just started the game and the very first weapon I get is this one? I mean, who needs to max manifest anymore when this is all one needs for all difficulties. A level 1 Hurricane. That's it. Slap some level 1 consumables (which is all I get so far) and there is nothing you can't melt. Going to have to Gold it with Crutchcane until I level up everybody cause I keep getting repeat character cards only for the EXP points. What a waste.

 

 

But yeah, if there is one weapon if I could choose that should of been nerfed quite a bit, it's the Hurricane. I mean, it really don't have any ammo problem like the Harrier (especially if you toss Heat Sink on). Accurate enough. Recoil is no issue if you hipfire it, since you only need a few bullets to connect for wreaking things anyways.  Super light. Damage high enough that even Armour dmg reduction barely phase it. I mean, wow, this really is like the #1 all round/works on any kit weapon. So why it only got buffs is quite the mystery to me?

 

I think that you lack the mental capacity to use a PS3 controller.

 

Well sure, but it still don't make it better then the 360 gamepad. And I've been playing with all kinds of gamepads since the NES era (proper gamepad are extremely important to me. Why I always bring it up it seems? ), and no other gamepad then the PS1/2/3 seem to upset me more. Really wish more folks would of complained about it so that it would of been fixed way sooner instead of just now with the PS4. .. Well, I heard someone say the PS4 one is way better, anyways.

 

As is, for my PS3 & PSP3000, I slap a D-Pad overlay over the default one I dreaded since PS1 era. And would you believe it actually turns it into one of the best D-Pads ever?

It's something I did on the X-Box all the time, since I usually have to keep running away from danger without risking letting go of the left analog stick that would make me a sitting duck. So I use the free right hand for OPs pack so I can keep running. On the 360 it works perfect. On the PS3 it's.... quite a stretch.

I haven't met a controller that wasn't akwardly small for me. My friends keep telling me I have large hands, but I think they're just the right size.

It's the sticks that makes the Xbox superior IMO. The 360 analog sticks have a small bit of resistance to them, where the PS3 (and my Xbone TBH) seem to have no resistance, no weight. Having that resistance makes fine aiming a lot easier IMO.

If I had a quarter for every time I pulled out the launcher instead of using an Ops Pack, I'd be a millionnaire. Also, the X360 controller is more sizey than the PS3 controller. Not really a stretch to press on the D-Pad with your right hand. It's so small. In fact, I prefer it to the ecks bawks controller. But oh well, I have an ecks bawks instead.

And yeah, your right about that no pressure on the analog sticks. And in combination with me finding the sticks too high as well, and no wonder it feels like I'm some cheap drunk trying to aim a wild Crutchcane? ... Maybe if I just cut the tips completely off I would I least solve one issue?

 

 

 

 

Well, not having them extra gels and rockets for Gold when pug lottery deals me some real lousy pugs, really makes saving folks much, much harder.

Still not as easy as very causally slipping my right hand thumb toward a 360 D-Pad. Plus that tip wouldn't work as well for me. Cause since I never could stand them Sony D-Pad since PS1 era (I really, really hate those D-Pad. Can't believe Sony took this long to finally fix it), I always slap a D-Pad overlay over them that raises the D-Pad higher and making doing that even more awkward. But thanks anyways. As I didn't know that as of yet. Since maybe cause I mostly play X-Box our of the two, save for exclusives and games that I like so much that I must have both versions (ie. ME3, Skyrim, Fallout 3, Dark Souls, etc. Like I said, I'm a big enough gaming geek to buy the same game twice and... play them more then once too. HA!).

Even on the PS3 there are off Hydra map lame folks?  Was just about to try my first piercing mod, of the High Velocity kind too, for my Sniper Rifle, and then I notice that BS.

 

 

There are some really weird difference I'm noticing too. One of the weirdest was me thinking "Great, another person not knowing to just shut up and just saying anything like he's got the voice of an angel" Like when I recovered my first pizza, I hear; "Package has been recovered, mission complete" or something along them lines, only  cheesier and in a pugs voice. Well, to my surprise, that's actually an in game voice?!!!! That's not on the 360! Is it on the PC? If not on PC either, then someone at BioWare felt like trolling PS3 owners with something special that Sony always tries to hard to get companies to slip in only for their consoles, or something anyways?

 

 

 

@megabeast; don't worry. I even fear sending you a friend request least I get to know you and you turn out to be some creep. Least this way I can assume you to be a model of a good BSNer and ME3mp player, with really great ME3 gaming advice.

Too all those who say Reapers are easy, grab a Phaeston level 1 with no piercing mods of any kind, level 1 consumables, pick a weapon orientated original class (for me it was the HI) and set it to Glacier Gold with other pugs matching what you have. Have fun! I sure as heck didn't, and it wouldn't of been a happy ending had it not been for someone with decent weapons and biotic booms like crazy (the Valkyrie with Acolyte and Indra 9). As for me, I will gladly admit how much Banshees are a pain with weaker setups.

 

 

 

On another note, it really sucks for PS3 owners that even on Gold, you can see hints of Collectors Hazard bringing the console and the code for this game to it's knees.

(So much for me enjoying some nice challenge with some terrible weapons, pugs & no piercing mods were it takes the power of all of us combined, aka team effort, to tackle an Atlas with some speed ).

Well, of course my dream of playing with poor weapons & no pierce mods is taking a nose dive fast.
