I finally got my Origins UE on my laptop and began playing. The only other games I've tried modding are my KOTOR games, and I've only done tiny mods like movie saber hilts and robes, Taris skip mods, and the like

I got the long awaited Skip Fade mod to work- Greatest Mod Ever Made    I can never go back to playing the DA series on my 360 LOL.....not after I have tasted mod goodness

So anyone know some good mods? I've beaten Origins, Awakenings, etc like 3 times on 360, so I figure why not have fun with my PC copy

I'd recommend something that fixed plot flag errors like the Morrigan Restoration patch, Zevran Dialogue fix or IRS:Alistair.  There are lots of armoring mods--I like Roguelass' stuff on Nexus or TMP's stuff here on the BSN Project boards.  There are additional nice mods that add little scenes to the game like Dahlialynn's Royal Wedding (for Alistair fans) or her "Sleep til Dawn" mod.

Also plenty of CC based mods that allow you to tinker and play with the appearance of your Warden or, if you are toolset savvy, with your companions or NPCs in the game.

Here are my favorites.  My copy of DA: O is heavily modded, but I'll narrow it down for what I'd recommend the most.  I first played DA: O on PS3 and I don't think I could go back :P

Cosmetic changes:

Lots of mods I personally use were already mentioned. One that does a world of difference for immersion I'd like to add is the following:

No Decaying Corpses

Sports compatibility with aforementioned Combat Tweaks-mod as well. Keep in mind the limitation mentioned in its description, however - you want to have the bodies cleaned up after combat's done in an area, move its files out of your override-folder, start the game, visit area in question and after quitting the game once more feel free to move the files back in.

Also move its files out of there when you are about to do the siege of Vigil's Keep in Awakening or otherwise run into a problem with enemies' spawning taking forever, resulting in your getting stuck in a certain area. I found that to happen with the Vigil's Keep siege in particular with some regularity, and it may or may not be a problem with the darkspawn-attack on Redcliffe Castle as well as the siege of Denerim. Otherwise, it works quite well.

For Skip the Fade (and most other mods) you need to place the downloaded file (for Skip The Fade - cir000ip_fade_pedistal.ncs) in DA: O's override folder.  If you downloaded DA: O from Steam, you'd find it here: C:\Users\[Administrator]\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override.  Create an override folder if you don't have one.

Be sure to check for mod compatibility too.  Always read the instructions carefully when you mod.  Sometimes mod creators will provide ways to work around incompatibility.

Also, some mods can be installed using DAModder (http://dragonage.nex...com/mods/286//?).  It's a really simple program to use.  This video explains how to use it.  It taught me how to mod DA: O when I started modding:
