I'd be kinda sad if the Inquisitor wouldn't be saved by Flemeth after killing an ogre.
Will there be an ogre again?

Flemeth won't be around to save you this time, instead you'll get a Game Ogre - epic mission failure. ![]()

I want her to be the one who shows the Inquisitor the way out of the Fade. Rescuing beforehand is optional, fantastically cryptic commentary is vital.

We're going to be saved by Morrigan after killing a pride abomination.
Gotta mix things up the third time, else it becomes stale.

I thought Morrigan would be playing the part of Flemeth in DA:I.
Maybe Flemeth will be paying the part of Morrigan....

How about you know, maybe no one is going to save us this time around, and we don't kill anything in the beginning of the game.
Next thing you ask is Link not getting his sword at the beginning...

Sigh, it's very likely since there's apparently no playable prologue and don't get control until after it's over, Flemeth doesn't have a reason to save us, Morrgian is in Orlais while we will start off in Fereldan, there's a limited ammout of darkspawn in DAI etc.
The devs have talked about this plenty of times now including some of the recent interviews, just because the other games did something like that doesn't necessarily mean that DAI is going to do the samething, conversely there's also a chance that someone may save us but not from the getgo and likely not from a darkspawn or if we do get saved it likely won't be by either Flemeth or Morrgian for number of reasons.

I can imagine being forced to fight a behemoth, a varterral (sp?) or maybe even a loose golem or giant. But an Ogre? I don't think so, especially since everything is about change and such

It's all ogre now.
I think you mean "They think it's all ogre... It is now!"

I think as Inquisitor we're supposed to be saving ourselves along with everyone else :0

would be cool if the Ogre was named something like Shreck

I wouldn't mind an ogre in the beginning, but I don't feel it's necessary. Also, I hope we are not saved by anyone.

All I want is the ogres to not look as stupid as they did in DAII.

You will always kill something at the beginning of the game. It's a combat based RPG.

Obviously we save Morrigan after she blasts apart an ogre with her lightning, then we come a long riding a dragonling into battle and became big god damn heros! Haha! top that Flemeth, you witch!

Even if it isn't in the beginning of the game, we need to have Flemeth save us from Darkspawn after we kill our first Ogre.

There is always a playable prologue, I think you're confusing it with Origin Story (which there indeed is not this time around). Even DA2 had a prologue (that lasted all of 30 min, Lothering to very brief Gallows, then CH1 begins in High Town).
I would be very surprised if there wasn't a pre-explosion sequence where we talk to / do random quests for people at the conference. I don't really think the game will 'open up' until after an hour or so in (hopefully longer), similar to DAO's Ostagar sequence.

In Orlais Ogre saves you from Flemeth.
Sorry, sorry. Just had too.
Seriosuly though. Ogre slaying in the first hour or so is tradition.

The ogre wants a threesome between him, the inq, and iron bull.
