hey i was just wondering whether or not the bonus talent you get will carry over to mass effect 2

As I understood from D2D's voice interview, it affects 'something' - no confirmation on your chosen extra ability carrying over.

oh okay thanks because i thought it would be a tad odd as they have metioned that soldiers only could use assualt rifles so if you picked assualt rifles as a bonus when you were adept or sometin that wouldnt rwally work.....

The entire talent system has been redesigned. None of anything you were talent wise will be the same in ME2.

Yes, but does it result in any sort of special bonus for your character or anything?

what? it doesn't carry over? that's a pain, is it possible to get new bonus talents? then add them to a char on a second playthrough? 'cause my adept with sniper rifles was unstoppable in ME...

yes
but talents aren't anything like they were in ME1. I think its actually an improvement though.

ah well, thanks for letting me know, hopefully the revamped biotic powers will console my adept about the loss of the sniper rifle...



oh and anyone have any idea if your achievements have any effect? like the bonus exp, bonus damage, etc. from reaching level 60, making kills with various weapons, and picking different squadmates. Hopefully not, 'cause i didn't get them all, lol, would need another 3 more ME playthroughs i think..
