Huge Halo fan here. I wasn't planning on buying an Xbox one but seeing the HD version of Halo 2, one of my favorite games of all time prompted me to save my money!

Yes, but the best part, is if the new Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer turns out to be terrible (which isn't going to happen ), you can play the original MP as well with all 24 maps, and it runs on 1080p 60fps (along side the other 3 games' MP)
