Cancelled my Gamestop preorder for the Halo MCC, switched to the digital download from Microsoft in the Xbox One store

 

The Master Chief Collection is a 45GB download, and there's an additional 20GB day one update. The digital download will preload all of that, including the update.

 

Phew.

Yesterday when completing the final two missions of Halo Reach on Legendary with friends, my Halo MCC download on the One finished downloading.

lol nice. I am actually debating whether or not I should cancel my pre-order at EB games and do a digital pre-load. 

 

On one hand, I can play the game immediately, as it will be downloaded far before launch day, along with the 20 GB patch. On the other hand, I won't have the game in my physical collection...

 

This is a life changing decision lol

For you Halo 5 would launch before your MCC download reached its completion and even then it'd probably tell you to start over

They've got chievos for so many of the easter eggs, they've got achievements for LASO completions, I mean dayum

No way are most achievement hunters going to go for 100% completion. Besides, it would be impossible to 100% the MCC until 3 months after a player's first match-
