From my recollection, every single Halo game has multiplayer functionality along with its single player campaign. And even the campaigns allow for co-op.

Hope they make it to PC. Fanatic PC gamers may have an orgy with feces if this really do happen. I remember last time when Halo 2 was coming out some guy sliced his thumb open and couldn't play even though he had the game.

It looks as though Windows is not critical to the success of certain franchises, however. According to developer 343 Industries, Halo: The Master Chief Collection will not be coming to PC – at least, not yet. Over on Halo Waypoint, community manager Andy Dudynsky confirmed that the developer’s “current focus is on the release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One.” The news has also been confirmed by 343 general manager Bonnie Ross, who said that 343 was “focused on Xbox One” in an interview with Eurogamer.

I had the original Halo for PC. Got it from a friend of mine. I ended up losing it, though. I had fun playing it with my friends during break time when I was in high school.

I still think Reach and 4 didn't do as much with the space combat as they could have, you get an impressive fighter and so little time to wreck havoc with it. That's something I'd like to see return on a greater scale. Being a lowly fighter in some fleet vs. fleet battle for example.

 

Also it would be great if the friendly AI could act a bit smarter. Getting into a warthog driven by the AI is suicide for all intents and purposes.

Lacking an Xbox One, I'll be watching playthroughs on YouTube, but still, I like to see all my nostalgia looking pretty.

They are making them run at 1080p and 60fps, but no, that Halo 3 remastered will come later.
