Uh, they released the Trilogy set before the Citadel DLC. The Mass Effect: Trilogy set was released in December of 2012. I started the Mass Effect series in September of 2012 before ME1 existed on PS3.

Ah okay, I didn't know the release dates.... okay so that's even better, gives people lots of time to play the trilogy before the citadel dlc.

Most buy ME3, 'cause of its Multiplayer just to play with friends.

Fighting, without winning, is tantamount to giving up.

I'd say surviving and rebuilding is putting up more of a fight than just pointlessly dying.

I'd join the Rebellion, but with my past military and combat experience I'd probably be one of the first they'd call up. I don't really have the "I give up, please don't hurt me no more" pvssy gene or the "I r scared, time to run away" gene.

I'd fight.

As long as I got some kill time and got to put rounds downrange and take a few Marauders with me and Husks.

It would be a good day to die.

They should have put Kaidan instead. Ashley with FemShep is just... awkward. Their chemistry with on another is just awkward.

I agree Ash/FemShep don't have ideal chemistry, but I kind of liked seeing them like this in the trailer. Just for the girl power, it's not everyday you see a video game trailer like this with two chicks marching into the battlefield like that  B)

I get this really bad feeling that if Kaidan substituted Ashley in the femShep trailer, some people would be confused and think that he was the main character.

Hey OP, Why not hide within the Keeper tunnels in the Citadel? So when reapers are gone you have the whole place to yourself

Provided you don't die of thirst within the first week hiding in a tunnel, where you may be exposed to extreme temperatures when the Citadel is turned into a death factory. You could make friends with the keepers, or become their tribal leader.

Living amongst the keepers! That would be interesting. You could become they're God!

I would build an underground bunker on a planet inhabited by primitive sapient lifeforms and then go into stasis.

Nice idea - and yes, I would hide, too

But I would do it on a Normandy like ship...stealth system and all, only bigger (with lots of genetic samples from all the species (talking about fertilized embryos) as well as databases containing as much of their history, culture (literature, music, art) and knowledge as possible), a self repair-system that has multiple backups, good defenses (if it is found before the sleepers are woken after a few thousand years, when the reapers have left already...that would be checked by sending unmaned probes into systems with relays) and the possibility to go to minimum power levels and life support - possibly using something akin to very powerfull photovoltaik panels)

And after waking I would start up by bringing back the species from before the extinction cycle, start creating a powerfull military, take over the relay network completely (and turning the alpha-relay - the citadel - into a gigantic bomb (after all, wipping out the reapers with a supernova-like explosion seems like a good idea to me) :)

greetings LAX

Bringing back species from genetic samples sounds nice in theory, but unless you can also recreate the ecosystems they've evolved in, it may not amount to much, unless you want to keep them in some kind of zoo, like the Collector in Superman.

Go into dark space when they came out of it.   No telling how BIG dark space is.   When they went back in, you'd come out.   After a few cycles your species would then evolve sufficiently to meet them head on and utterly "harvest" them and learn all their secrets....then recycle them.

Yeah, I don't think that's going to work as well as you think it is. The Reapers would catch on very quickly to what's going on and rectify that solution.

I think it would be hard for them to monitor ALL of  dark space....and they are supposed to be in some inactive stasis.

I think it would be hard for them to MONITOR all of dark space.

But it wouldn't be hard for them to monitor the galaxy. Which is when they would find out something was up. And with at least a few deca-millenia of advancement over the races of the galaxy, eventually they'd wise up to whats going on, and I'd say that would happen long before the races of the galaxy created a viable counter to the Reapers sans the Crucible.

Also, you put emphasis on the wrong word. ALL should have been in caps.

Depending on resources?  If unlimited, make my own migrant fleet for unknown space.  The Quarians have done pretty well with a ragtag group of ships.  Sure it's falling apart come ME3, but they've lasted 300 years and with ships never designed for such a long journey.  That's pretty impressive so imagine what a custom built fleet could do.

On a poor colonists budget?  Throw myself into stasis, fill a crate full of survival gear, put it all in a large tube with some parachutes, and launch it while in deep space into a collision course with the most habitable unsettled garden world and have it set to impact in 1000 years.  I doubt the reapers will bother to check out a piece of space debris giving off next to no emissions.

I think that if you became a mountain man on some habitable garden world, you'd be OK. I'd like to have a few varren to be my protectors against other wildlife.

I would hide in my closet.

The reapers are kinda like monsters. They won't be looking for other monsters so they will not look in places where monsters are typically found. Ergo, they will not look in my closet.

I could switch it up and hide under my bed if I got bored. Same principle applies.

I'd go deep underground or underwater, possibly both on some ice ball planet with an ocean beneath the ice. Leviathan had the right idea.

If I was an Adept, I would find another Adept and we'd hide in a bunker, casting Stasis on each other until the Reapers went home.

Of course, it'd have to the ME2 version, where people in Stasis take no damage.

With ME tech as advanced as it is, living underwater would actually be pretty easy. Mass effect fields and efficient power sources are pretty abundant. It would just have to be on a world outside of the relay network with no colonies, in which case you're better off finding a planet which has an environment that is largely unsuitable for life on the surface, and is possibly also a poor prospect for mining, though the latter is not likely if it's a terrestrial world with ocean cover.
