Btw, when I first started playing Multi I had not clue about the settings and the game was set for Platinum by default. I ended up playing three Platinum games with a crew who just allowed my frequently corpsified soldier to tag along and never kicked me, and I have no clue why. It did allow me to earn credits and get stuff. No idea who they were but they did me a huge favour.

So many scrubby scrubbity scrub moments I don't know where to begin... I feel like I've done it all.

 

One of my favourites is when mistake an escort for a hack and stand in a RHA spot shooting at the enemies while the rest of the team crawls through the map without me noticing it. Or, in a similar vein, when I think the third device was the fourth one and go on an early killing spree...

Pull + Reave on A-Bomb, biosplosion throws it at my feet 

Turning off Bloodlust

Detonate Tech Armour, forget to turn it back on

Fully spec Sticky Grenades, don't remember that I have them till wave 9

Play a level 20 character without powers because I forgot to spec

Heavy Barrel + Extended Clip, completely overlook the fact that I have no armour piercing

Run into smoke, get stabbed by Phantom

Go the wrong way during Escort (not entirely my fault)

Attempt to extract from/deliver Pizza to wrong LZ on Dagger

 

I charged a guardian once - he interrupted it with his melee and shield bashed me to death. 

 

If there is one thing in this game that makes me rage, it's when you Biotic Charge a Geth Prime and he elbows you before you even get there

I was just about to write that. That awkward moment, when you sit tight in one place, thinking you are doing hack, wondering why is everyone taking so long to get there, while it´s escort in reality. 

 

Do you, guys, also do that Tactical cloak thing? Where after playing infiltrator I keep pushing 1 for TC even though I am no longer infiltrator. So I run around with vorcha and keep turning the Bloodlust on and off like idiot.

My most recent - Geth/Gold/Glacier , thought I'd give my Krogan Shaman a go. The very first few seconds of the game ran into a spawn with damn rocket troopers. Went down quicker than a quarian with a tummy ache.

Yeah it's a know glitch that happend to me twice in a row: I had spent all skill points on a blank character then joined a game, only to find those points didn't registered at all, so I spent a whole match without using any powers, only shooting my gun...for some reason I extracted at last tho.

I do something similar when I play a second game, after playing one with a volus. I keep pressing light melee key to cloak on non-volus characters, end up light melee-ing an enemy in the middle of a crowd and get taken down. I look like an idiot every time I do that.

One thing that happens sometimes is when I use a particular weapon on a geth kit and the use the same weapon on another kit, I keep screwing up half of my reloads because the timing is different... Well, at least I get to use that medi-gel key for its intended purpose.

So much this. Done all of them.   First one- I wonder why the character is suddenly not as powerful as before. Second one- promise to show a friend how to use a character, forget to spec. And the last one... No comment, sneaky LZ on Dagger.

Oh yes, more times than I would like to. It especially happens to me with the Drell and Asari. Want to cloak... charge a spawn instead. 

 

And some more: 

- failing to missile a target several times is definitely one of my favorite scrubby moments. 

- I'm not even kidding with this one: bronze solo (yes, they exist!), N7 Slayer against Cerberus, last target is a Phantom, her shields are down.... So I heavy melee her (ending the wave with style )..... and get synced.  Epic fail and probably my scrubbiest moment so far. 

- telling a teammate who was taken down "It's OK, I have you." and get killed right next to him. 

- clutching a wave on Gold/Reapers on a PUG. Two Banshees were coming at me, when one pug spoke up: "Use a missile.". Me thinking: "Lol, no, I can take them.".... well, you can imagine the rest. 

 

And I definitely expect more scrubby moments to come.

It's not scrubby if there's no one there to witness it. Next time do it when you're clutching Wave 10.

Accidentally hitting the Shadow Strike button while shooting at a banshee as last man standing because a Get Pyro was burning my butt...

 

And accidentally shadow striking a turret above the Engineer I was aiming for.

To this day I remember the platinum game we had with two friends. We were still in the lobby and had it open for one random and that one guy with like N7 6 or something kept dropping in and out. My friend was trying to tell him, that it will be ok, that we will carry him, that he can stay. So after the third time he dropped in, he stayed.

 

And then, we wiped on wave 8 in the most humiliating way. It was such a frickin mess, with phantoms all over us.

Arg, speaking of Bloodlust it took me months to figure out it was a toggle. I stopped playing once I figured it out due to shame.

Playing the Batguard and charging guardians. I feel like he's about to turn around, face me, and say, "Use lash please, before you get us killed."

 

Forgetting to set up a pylon until wave 5.

 

That panic moment when you see a mook about to stomp a squadmate and you don't know whether to shoot or use a power, so you just stand there like a deer in headlights and hear the crunch.

I'm jumping into this thread way too late, everything good has already been mentioned. Random grenades, charging into a stagger, volus light melee carrying over to other kits, detonating tech armor and never putting it back on- been there done that. 

 

My scrubby moment that hasn't already been mentioned would be completely messing up loadouts. I would be playing a randomizer game with friends or doing a solo with a goofy build one day, forget about switching back to my regular loadout, then log on the next day and without double checking play as if I was using my standard loadout. So if you've ever seen a shotgun wielding HMI with sniper rifle amps and phasic ammo or a Tsent wielding a BPP with no piercing mods and warp ammo... That may or may not have been me.
