I mean if Morrigan met Flemeth in Inquisition wouldn't she be scared of her. Both of them will no doubt be trying to get something from the inquisitor.

maybe or maybe not

she did not want to face Flemeth when she sent you to kill her mother in DA:O just because she was scared that when Flemeth died that she could possess Morrigan right away

Will Flemeth still try to take her body?

Probably I mean If Flemeth sees her in inquisition there will most likely be conflict.

That's assuming that she was even telling the truth about Flemeth anyway. I can never decide who to trust between those two.

Makes you wonder how this body transferring magic works.

I know with morrigan you don't know what she want's I hope we get answers instead of riddles in inquisition I mean the only person that can really defend morrigan other than herself is the warden if they are with her.

I don't think so Morrigan had 10 years to prepare herself to facing her mother and Flemeth should still be weakened.

She was speaking the truth. Yavana says that Flemeth's possession ritual is actually a "gift"

Morrigan did say that she wanted to enter the Eluvian to empower herself, since it lead to a place "beyond this world, and beyond the Fade".

The sad thing is, up until Morrigan went through the Eluvian, she was more or less following Flemeths plans/predictions for her.

I'd say both are near equals in power, but Flemeth just has the upper hand.

First of all, I agree with Saberchic. We don't know if Morrigan told the truth. I bet she and Flemeth have both their own agenda and their own goals. The only question is, if the goals are selfish ones or if they serve a greater good.

Is Yavana a character from the books? If she doesn't have deeper insight into Flemeths or Morrigan's motivation, I think it's save to say that she was just voicing her opinion. That doesn't necessarily mean that Flemeth can really transfer herself into another body. Although that is not impossible. I don't think that we really know the truth at this point.

The way I understand it, Flemeth is the dragon. She is probably a really powerful shapeshifter. Or did I miss something?

I am not sure if Morrigan would be scared of Flemeth. If she is, than maybe not because of Flemeth's influence on the Inquisitor, but more because Flemeth might still be able to possess her.

Yavana is from the comics of "The Silent Grove"; she is a daughter of Flemeth, a Witch of the Wilds in Antiva (also known as the beast of the Tellari swamps).

Likely; we haven't exactly seen any evidence to the contrary; when we left off with Morrigan in Witch Hunt she was terrified of whatever Flemeth was, and given that as far as I know we haven't seen Morrigan discuss Flemeth in any DAI footage(correct me if I'm wrong), we've no reason to believe that attitude has changed in the last seven years.

Of course, we also don't know what tricks Morrigan has picked up in that time to defend herself against her mother.

Well in which hunt I get a little bit of fear in her voice, when talking about flemeth. Though even if she is, that's not gonna stop her.

I really doubt that's what Flemeth did. I mean, if Zathrian/Avernus can figure out the secret to immortality, then I'm sure Flemeth could do it too. Zathrian bound his soul to a spirit and a curse, Avernus used blood magic... But Flemeth raises powerful intelligent daughters and teaches them to be wary of everyone, and then she tells them of this "Grimoire of secrets" she lost? I mean, I really doubt its as simple as it seems to be.

And as we saw, Flemeth's seems to be splitting herself up, no wonder there are witches of the wilds far from the Korcari Wilds. In DA2 she creates a clone of herself, whether the Warden kills her or not.

So no, I doubt she'd take Morrigans body. She has no use for it I bet.

I'm sure Flemeth does do the body switching thing but it's not nearly as required as Morrigan thinks in my opinion.

Of course not - Voldemort could be killed by destroying all his horcruxes, Flemeth can be killed as well.

Well on the one hand Flemeth is much, much more powerful than her.

On the other hand.....uh...hm

don't know where I was going with this.

Tigers can be killed. Put someone in a room with a tiger, they will be frightened.

Just because you can kill a thing doesn't mean it is incapable of killing you.

ofcourse there would be some fear when facing Flemeth, even if Morrigan has become more powerful.

At this point , we or maybe just i have no idea how powerful Flemeth actually is. yes she can shapeshift into a dragon, but is that so much harder then shapeshifting into a bear or whatever? Or is it something more than just shapeshifting for Flemeth.

Also no idea what Morrigan learnt during her time away in a galaxy far far away   :P ..

I doubt we will see a meeting between the 2 in DAI but i definitely hope so

Eh, the Warden can't really do it either, since Morrigan is never particularly clear and honest with the Warden at any point in which we are controlling them.

I think Gaider is the one who said trusting Morrigan is like trusting the girl who called mystery wolf. Which is like a wolf, but mysterious and stuff. By the time she chooses to be honest, who's actually going to believe it?

of course morrigan is afraid, but sometimes confronting your enemy is a lot better than running and hiding.  we dont know how much morrigan knows about flemeth, sometimes its better to confront your enemy in the hopes of gaining more information on them than it is to run and hide and lack that information....  If they don confront each other, you can bet morrigan isnt gonna be some frightened child in front of her, no she will talk with an attitude and talk smack.
