Please consider the merits of this.

So very many bullets can be dodged if you do NOT rely on Paid/possibly biased even possibly reluctant to comment employees ONLY.

Certainly, employ those AS WELL....but do this for the sake of Highly Profitable Sales (also happier Paying Customers).

This Harms No One....(possibly some egos, but they won't be buying the game  ).

As someone who has played All Bioware Games, and enjoyed virtually All of them, (minus ME3) fixed ONLY Via a MOD (see my other thread :D  on ME3), I say I want so much to love this new game....

PS I am posting this in the hopes a "Dev" will pass this along, I am not in any way interested in debating, or otherwise engaging Non-Bioware Employees.

Bioware does focus groups, but once the game design is very heavily under way fan input can't really move the behemoth.

I could be a secret Bioware employee, here to spy among the masses and report my findings to my superiors? Stuff like, their tears still taste like candy?

Sorry... That was a horrible gargled mess of a paragraph.

Can someone translate into English?

Translation:

Dear BioWare, I hate ME3's ending. Please gather a focus group of unpaid fans to review the game/ending so it doesn't turn into a similar debacle. I want BioWare to see this post, I will not waste time talking to other fans.

I hated ME3 ending also.

I loved the games and repurchased all 3 for the pc just so I could put in the new mod which leaves all 3 endings as possibilities, but give me the destroy ending that I had expected, from also having played all of their previous games.  I totally understand where OP is coming from.

I'm trusting DG and his group who have said there will be alternate endings,  to give truly different endings from death to survival, from despair to hope.  I've always enjoyed DG writing and he wrote the female fans of KOTOR a better ending, which I still have.   :)   So while there will always be a tiny part of me worried that something will go wrong, I don't expect anything like the ME3 endings.  And hopefully not another DR either, though have to admit, ME3 made the DR less irritating.

This suggestion sounds like an excellent way to get your ending leaked.

I can't stand when people don't respect the writers of a story.

You can dislike a story all you want and you can imagine it your way but don't pretend it was fixed by an outsiders fan fic. The only correct depiction is how the writers wrote it.

agreed...when it comes to how the overall story unfolds and the ending will be what they want it to be.

but in the defense of most (not all) of the people that criticize the writers of DA, the writers do back on some of their writings at times.. and when you're writing a story that crosses onto other forms of media, continuity is key.

Eh...the lead writer of the series changed with ME3 (and the leaked script made them change plans) and his replacement just wasn't as in tune with the tone of the previous games in my opinion and the changes were too radical. To me ME3 was the Star Wars prequels of the ME series.

Don't forget that in the case of ME3, the original ending that was written was thrown out and completely rewritten by the head of the game himself, and one other person.  They rewrote the ending into the horrible result that made fans around the world rather unhappy.  Assuming DG writes the ending of the game, I don't think it's very likely that Mike is going to throw it out and write a new ending himself at the last minute, so I don't think we're going to have a comparable situation happen here :) .  Not that the original ME3 writers 'couldn't' have written a terrible ending, nobody's perfect, but in this case they actually didn't, it was somebody else who decided he wanted to write the ending instead, so he did, and I think it's safe to say now that he wishes he had stuck with what the writers wrote :) .  Keep in mind this was the same guy who threw out the ME2 Femshep romances with Jack and Tali at the last minute also, so making horrible decisions at the last minute is sort of his thing.  That's not something any member of the DA team is known for, so I don't think it's necessary to run the ending by any special group of people, their ability to write good endings is well established and we have every reason to be confident that DAI's endings will be very satisfying, just like DAO's were.

This horse has been atomized, cloned, killed, and atomized again with how much people have beaten this.

God forbid anyone criticise a less then perfect game, because we are so entitled for wanting a ending not to be dogshite and for outright being lied to before the release of the game. No, we should tooootalllly just roll over and preorder the elite DLC horse armour delixe super edition of DA:I without any skepticism.

Yet they still go and say DA:I will have 40 endings and then backtrack very quickly leaving the whole matter both noticed and unresolved.

well it's 40 "endings" for the decisions we make, like those mini epilogues at the end of DA:O.  As far as major endings, probably only 2 or 3.

All this ending nonsense again, I seriously hope BW goes old school and just does "Thank you for playing" then rolls credits just out of spite directly after the final boss

To be fair, ME3's ending leaked MONTHS in advance and it didn't go through this process. Or, if it did, they apparently didn't take any to the feedback to heart, since I'm sure at least one person would have said "ummmm... wtf guys?"
