Lol, gonna make so much fun out of this guy
Are you calling poor cole ugly?
That hat is, anyway. What the hell is that? Are you calling poor cole ugly?
-gets ready the torches and pich forks for sale- Have a feeling these will be highly sought by those wishing to defend Cole.
Give the poor guy a break. Most the forum has adopted him as their honorary adopted son, and you don't want to anger a large amount of doting mothers and fathers.
I always wanted a companion who would approve of me using the murder knife.
he's going to be abusing it all over his wrist I'l bet

Emo kids... you grew up in suburbia, no one feels sorry for you. Get a haircut.
... So those were the shoes they went with.
Well hes as creepy as I imagined
Lol! He won't keep his knives to his wrists neither

I just really can't grasp the concept of people wanting to 1) romance Cole, 2) think Cole is attractive, 3) think Cole isn't batshit crazy insane, 4) have parental feelings for Cole, or 5) think Cole killed because others wanted to die and so therefore he's not actually a crazy lunatic murderer just a misguided youth trying to do good in a world that's been oh so mean to him.

mhm...
a picture in the OP reminds me of L.
i mean really the guy looks like L.
He kinda looks like Tate from American Horror Story.
Looks exactly like him, i wonder if there's a chance that he's the voice actor, they usually add some physical similarities to the actors (of course this isnt the case for IB)
I'm kind of hoping Evan Peters is his VA now he's a good actor and it would be nice to see him be more than that guy from AHS.

I wouldn't doubt it. His recent role was in X-Men Days of Future Past. His name is Evan Peters. His IMDB page would suggest he's not in DAI.

I agree with the above poster, he's a solid actor. I liked him in X-Men and all seasons of American Horror Story.

Now, while I agree with most of it, in the books there's a clear distinction between Cole being a murderer and Cole (potentially, it's debated even in the books) being merciful. He has the mind of a child so to him that's a lot of grey area. Now, Cole could only be seen by specific people: Spirit mediums, people wishing to die, and people in the fade with him. So yes, in his eyes the murdering is mercy killing as they already wish to die. But, that gets discussed so much more in depth by the end of the book.
Not saying I disagree as I find Cole rather odd... Not sure how I feel about him yet really... But I'm willing to give him a chance in Inquisition as we might get to delve deeper into his character.

Thank you! Several other people (including David Gaider) have pointed out the creepiness about romancing Cole, but very few people seem to consider his 'mercy' killing mages a bad thing.

Listen, we all want to die sometimes ....*when arguing with our wives* *cough*, but you shouldn't kill someone because of that feeling, (you don't even know them) it goes away. Its not mercy, its a horribly insane addiction. He wants to believe its mercy so he can continue killing. Disgusting.
Heck I'm a berserker, I want to die when I'm fighting, when I'm angry, but I don't wanna die....Cmon!!
