"Character Story" Event Wrong on BioWare Social Site

Meilleure réponse Zjarcal , 24 juin 2014 - 03:05

If you mean having it fixed on your profile, no idea really, I doubt any staff member would actually take the time for that tbh.

Wrong choices get set all the time on those summary things btw, it's common. It is annoying, I know... :/

Wouldn't affect things for DA:I (assuming that choice would matter) if you use the Keep to set your choices though. Aller au message complet »

So, I just finished all of Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition and its DLC yesterday, so I decided to look at my BioWare Social Network page today. It had finally begun to upload my character, but I've already noticed a discrepancy:

As I was scrolling through my story section, that it shows that I "hardened" Alistair. That's definitely not  the choice I made. Perhaps I'm just being particular, but it's seriously going to bug me.

Has anyone else had the social site story section upload a choice(s) wrong?

Is there anyone to contact who will fix it?

I've been having trouble understanding one thing about the Keep, actually. Is it supposedly going to allow changes to be made to save game imports? Or only to set choices for wholly new games? I mean, I'd like to be able to keep (no pun intended) my old save if I can fix just that, as you said, if that particular choice even matters.

Well, the way the Keep has been promoted, it doesn't seem like that would be an option, it's only there to set up a clean set of choices for a new game.

However the devs have mentioned the possibility of still supporting the import of old saves, so I suppose it's possible you could upload your old save to the keep and tweak it to your heart's content, but that's just speculating.

EDIT: Now that I recall I think it was possible to edit the save file on the toolset, including story settings, though that would be a hassle (getting the toolset to work alone is usually a hassle).

Yeah, the toolset is ridiculously difficult to even get loaded sometimes. Even if I could get it running, there's a way to reupload the file onto social.bioware.com, either, is there?

Oh well, thanks anyway  :(

TBH I am actually surprised you can still upload your save data here, I thought that feature had been disabled when the new forum was established.

Anyway, yes, it is possible to have your old data overwritten by re-uploading, provided the upload goes through, which judging from your opening post, it seems you've already noticed how that doesn't always work smoothly.

Probably best to get used to the messed up story setting (and for what it's worth, I'd be super bugged by it too :P).
