Where did they get the model for the varren? Before the Citadel DLC, the only place you really see one is on Sur'kesh.
Is Ashley Williams really a Racist; Yes or No?

A mod I got off the Nexus which was meant to replace that useless robot-dog with Urz. When I tried going to the engineering deck, the game would freeze.
*sigh* Still broken...
Man, I completely forgot that thing existed.
Bummer that it's freezing. I'll keep the "your game got scale-itch" jokes to myself.

No idea. Whatever it is, AVOID. Broke my game bad enough I'm gonna have to restore from backup.Where did they get the model for the varren? Before the Citadel DLC, the only place you really see one is on Sur'kesh.
@dreamgazer
No worries.

I never took Ashley to the final mission on Ilos/the Citadel, but it was interesting to see how adamant Garrus was about sacrificing the Council. Dude has some serious issues with authority.
If you take Wrex & Garrus with you to go fight Saren, Garrus is reluctant on helping the Council and would rather not save them, as where Wrex is inclined on saving the Council instead. WHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! In the end, those pyjaks must be saved?

Yeah, the very first time I ever did the end-game, I brought Wrex and Ashley with me. Wrex was the one advocating saving the Council, while Ashley was the one arguing that we should abandon them.
To my knowledge, Liara is the only character who's opinion is set in stone on saving the Council.

You don't care about the subject at hand yet you felt the need to post here anyway.
It's like those people that comment on youtube videos saying they hate the video, why bother really?
On topic, Ashley is not racist, she just doesn't trust alien species. That changes later on.
Yes ....

Looks like I'm going to make another ME3 run with Ash. *Shrugs* Well I guess I've probably missed some of her alien lines. I've never brought her to the early game side missions, I tend to rush to complete them.

When dealing with individuals, if you're a fair person, you can't judge them based on the reputation of where they come from or something that happened involving their ancestors in the distant past - that's an excuse. Hence, prejudice.

Supposedly, if you bring her and Kaidan, he will advocate saving the Council, while she will advocate sacrificing them. Unless you renegaded him.
Haven't tested it yet. Maybe on my next PT.

Something that I will definitely not deny: Wrex is indeed speciesist.

It's definitely a defendable position you can take, yeah. But it's irrelevant as well. Even though I agree with you, it has nothing to do with Ashley's racism. Not sure what you're trying to say by claiming that Wrex too is a racist. It's a tu quoque fallacy to call out people who say that Ashley is a racist but also say nothing about other characters racism.

That would be kind of hard to do, considering that only one or the other would be able to come, since the other is kinda dead.

I think she starts out as racist due to her past, but leaving her alive in Mass Effect 3 just makes it worse while her dying in Mass Effect at least gives her progress.

That was actually about Liara, not Ashley. By default Kaiden will always advocate saving the council.

No he doesn't. I've had him with Liara before, and she advocated saving the council whereas he wanted to sacrifice them.

I said by default, only if you persuaded him through renegade dialogue will he advocate to sacriface the council. Same can happen with ashley, albeit the other way around: If you take certain paragon dialogue options she will insist on saving council, at least with garrus, which normally would be the other way around.

I didn't really bother persuading him to be renegade. He was fairly... paragon I suppose. He still advocated sacrificing the Council versus Liara, who wanted to save them.

Then there must be something wrong with your game, then because unless Kaidan's is pushed towars renegade he will inist on saving the council when Liara is also present.

I assure you, I know what happend in my Mass Effect playthroughs, but I find your accusations to be uncomforting. Are you calling me a liar? And if so what do you think I have to gain by making deliberate false statements about such trival matters?

In addition to her ME1 conversations about not wanting to trust or be dependent on the other races to solve a human problem, pretty much every mission I took her on in ME3 brought out some snide comment about aliens - either not handling their own problems or using Shepard to solve theirs. I think she's a racist, reforming as she has more contact with aliens.
She's right, alien's have to deal with their own ****. If they can't handle it then that's their problem, don't call us to clean up your mess.

He really does. I persuaded him to sign up for the Spectres again in ME1, when I met him again in ME2 he tells me that there was too much red tape and he left. Spectres? The organisation which allows you to kill hundreds of innocent civilians to stop one guy? Too much red tape? What?
The dude has problems he really needs to solve.
