Sorry
This guy was irritating
Delan wasn't too bad. He was just doing what he had to do to survive.

Because the writers chose to disregard their own lore. It takes days to traverse the relay; that's canon. The codex said so from the beginning. You can't force those ships through in a shorter timeframe any more than you can force the sand through an hourglass faster. They retcon'd it to make the "Arrival of the Victory Fleet" cutscene (which I find ridiculous) possible. As the game suggests, you're incorrect on that count. You're arguing off of non-canon.

Well, no matter how much you dislike it, it's unfortunately canon now. What Shepard suggested was viable and desirable.

Nah, he was irritating. After the battle, where we saved his life and at least some of the colonists, the ungrateful **** says, "I'm done with you Alliance types."
Am I gonna pull out a gun and shoot him? No. But irritating? Hell yes. Next time I'll tell him to scout for us ![]()
I'm not going to recommend they do something which was established as physically impossible and throw a hissy fit when they don't. All that does IMO is make Shepard look like an idiot. Same reason I roll my eyes at "thanix missiles" and the Cain firing a homing projectile instead of behaving like the supersized bullet it really is. The writers chose to ignore the rules that they, themselves, established - that's their problem, not mine.Well, no matter how much you dislike it, it's unfortunately canon now. Entitled bastard at it's finest. Would have loved to subject him to some Conrad Verner treatment.

Well, I wasn't an alliance type. I agreed whole-heartedly with him about the uselessness of the alliance. He was ungrateful, but after having to deal with the alliance for so long, I'd be too.

He's not an entitled bastard. Hence why he voluntary left alliance space and wanted to be left alone, and even protested to the appearance of alliance forces there to 'protect' the colony.
Ehh. I just saved his life. He could just as easily have said, "I'm done with you hero types." And I would have found him just as irritating.Well, I wasn't an alliance type. It would've been kind of amusing if Delan was taken shortly after Shepard leaves that shed, and instead of Lilith in the chamber at the Collector Base, it was him.
Delan: [waking up] She...Shepard? It's you! Get me out of here!
Shepard: Pffft. Can't even hide properly. What a loser.
Delan: AAAAAAAAAAAAARRHGHSGUGGGHUGGHgsgusoudfousf

I guess I'm the only guy that has any sympathy for the guy.
I don't actually want that to happen to him. Admittedly, I do sympathize with him, in that he's just some scared guy that's cast about in a moment of stress after horrible monsters took his friends. It doesn't stop him from annoying the living hell out of me though. I don't really sympathize with his whole anti-Alliance stance, mainly because it's not something I can really invest myself in enough to care about anyway. Something something government bad, something something secession in space.
You're not. His politics really don't have anything to do with the situation at hand.I guess I'm the only guy that has any sympathy for the guy.

I don't like him and he does annoy me but his position is entirely understandable.
She's an Asari, so you feel the need to find an excuse for her actions. You have stated in the past that you wouldn't be so forgiving to a non-Asari.
And you're letting a person who's pulling a gun on you to try and get off scot-free a second chance.
Your Shepard is weak.
I'm as afraid of her as Captain Wasea was of Niftu Cal. In any case, she backs down extremely quickly.

tough old gut ain't he?
the fact that we are told that all Eclipse Sisters earn their uniform by committing a murder seals her fate. In order for her to be wearing that uniform she has to have already killed someone (which we find out she did)

Yeah, but you hear that rumor from exactly 1 person, who has not really the best relation to eclipse, and is also not very trustworthy either.
Another 2 I can't stand:
Captain Ventralis from Peak15 (And the Turian next to him, talking about a flame-thrower. He makes me feel uncomfortable for some reason...)
And Jedore the Blue Suns leader on Korlus, where you get Grunt.

You mean the guy who has enough of a relationship to be selling them dangerous chemicals.... He may be a swindling criminal, but he knows who he is dealing with

It's not like she murdered anyone who wasn't an attempted murderer himself. In any case, I have no reason to trust Pitne For. And even if I did, every single one of my own squadmates has committed far more than one murder.

She murdered a trader, not an honest man probably, but she killed him in a rather brutal way as I recall
furthermore she is hiding a gun behind her back, and the interrupt appears as she pulls it out

A trader selling substances he knew would kill them. And any method of killing is going to be brutal to a volus; they pop if their suits are breached.
And I can stare down Elnora's gun with ease.

a trader nonetheless, Elnora didn't know that he swindled them, she killed him in cold blood to impress her fellow muderers and gain the opportunity to commit greater acts of violence
yes, stare down the gun of a mercenary whose entire outfit is against you, meta-gaming at its finest
