It's not like she murdered anyone who wasn't an attempted murderer himself. In any case, I have no reason to trust Pitne For. And even if I did, every single one of my own squadmates has committed far more than one murder.

Really now? Every single one?

Samara, Thane, Legion, Jack, and Liara definitely have. Zaeed, Wrex, and Garrus are likely. Miranda wouldn't surprise me. But the rest? Kaidan, Kasumi, even Grunt?

a trader nonetheless, Elnora didn't know that he swindled them, she killed him in cold blood to impress her fellow muderers and gain the opportunity to commit greater acts of violence

yes, stare down the gun of a mercenary whose entire outfit is against you, meta-gaming at its finest

Well, sadly, we're never going to know for sure, although Eclipse did know they'd been had; that's why they drugged Niftu Cal. And yes, I'm willing to do so when the game actually makes it possible.

Jack, yes. Garrus, yes (maybe not legally, since Omega has no laws, but a few of his killings clearly required helpless targets). Grunt is more of a "would if he wasn't always under my own supervision" case. Miranda, almost certainly. Mordin committed what was probably something akin to a war crime by killing female krogan when that was explicitly not supposed to happen. Thane, yes. Samara, yes. Legion, yes. Zaeed, yes. Kasumi, it's somewhat unclear. Tali? Maybe not.

I exaggerated, I confess, but Shepard rubs elbows with a lot of murderers, is my point.

Kasumi doesn't even strike me as the type who wants to kill someone even if they pissed her off. Even with Hock she was all "let's take his **** and bounce." despite what he did to her boyfriend.

Was Mordin's from one of the comics? I admittedly haven't followed them.

Elnora doesn't say she killed him in revenge for the swindling, she only says that she did it to earn her stripes

Yeah and that stupid giggle she does. I let her go once because I was being an idiot never again. She played that wounded gazelle gambit to a tee.

Well, I wasn't an alliance type. I agreed whole-heartedly with him about the uselessness of the alliance. He was ungrateful, but after having to deal with the alliance for so long, I'd be too.

On what basis do you make that assertion?

Human colonies are vanishing

the Alliance

A. Covers it up, and denies anything out of the ordinary

B. Doesn't send worthwhile defenses to vulnerable planets

C. Is so blinded by Cerberus involvement they can't see the truth

I can't get over how stupid that was. She sees 3 well armored and armed people goes for the wounded gazelle gambit and grabs a weapon. Even if she could take out one wtf did she expect to happen?

It's not their jurisdiction, simple as that  But more then that, I find your selective focus to be most troublesome.

So her killing him for no reason was ok, because there actually was a reason, she just didn't know it

if its not their jurisdiction why did they get involved?

They sent cannons and soldiers, and had groups investigating the disappearances as Paragon Lost showed us

I can't believe how far some people here are going to defend that coward's gang initiation killing and subsequently pointing a weapon at them.

There's no reason to think she didn't.

Side effect of having to justify not spouting bad one-liners that lead to you being shot before killing someone who's no credible threat to you.

The alliance may investigate these colonies at their convienance, they however have no obligation to do so. Yet you still selectively focus on but one Alliance operation, and an informal one at that.

She said in her recording that she killed him, she made no mention of her motive, it reasonable to assume that she killed him in order to be fully recruited and we are never told otherwise, furthermore we have no evidence that Dakne Kur knew that the shipment was dangerous

they got involved, but they half-assed it, they drew incredibly wrong conclusions, and even went so far as to blame the only group responding to the attacks, that is just either sheer incompetence, or neglect, neither of which would endear anyone to them

I mean it's not even like you could say she felt guilty about it. She was boasting til she realized there was someone fully able to do the same to her.

Pitne For says that Dakne Kur "knew the risks of spacing" and nothing more about his involvement

The two Asari talking on Illium. "Sometimes you say these things, and I don't know... I wonder if it's because you had a Batarian father."

That second Asari turns the argument into a racial one in the first place, then has the gall to play the victim card over being a pureblood and starts making excuses for her past drug habit? Come on.

You're statement contracts itself by claiming that the Alliance blames the only group responding to the Attacks, while your premise cleary states the Alliance was acting in response to the attack. Also, the Alliance never officaly blamed Cerberus for the attack, Ash.Kaiden mentions that Cerberus might be connencted to missing colonies, we don't what conclusions they made as we're never told by an objective narrative source. That aside, you're still relying on the faulty generalisation fallacy in order to prove the assertion.
