Doesn't matter if someone pulls a weapon on you , you shoot. You don't stand there wondering if/and/but. Kill the Asari and move forward with the mission

In RL i'd agree we you, of course. But I was optimistic that she isn't able to kill Shep (shields, armor) with her crappy SMG
But listen to renegade Shep's comments before he kills her. Renegade Shep plans to kill her simply because she is an enemy combatant, not because she draws a weapon.
She chose her side and proved she was an enemy combatant by drawing a weapon on Shepard. That's choosing her side. She's a legitimate threat trying to kill Shepard. It doesn't matter if she can do any damage at all or not, that's a threatening position and will be reacted with accordingly.
Honestly, I think you make a lot of double standards for her because she's an Asari.

Optimism like that is known to get people killed, it's simply not risk one should be willing to take, motivation matters very little in this instance.

Yeah, that's like Shepard's craptacular commentary when you kill the Rachni Queen. But listen to renegade Shep's comments before he kills her. Renegade Shep plans to kill her simply because she is an enemy combatant, not because she draws a weapon.
She draws a weapon, we shoot. That's the long and short of it.

Yeah, that's like Shepard's craptacular commentary when you kill the Rachni Queen.
"You chose your side Elnora, and you lost."
Shepard is informing her that the action of drawing a weapon in his proximity is the same as choosing a side. Which is true. She's choosing to stand against Shepard. Which only has one possible outcome.

My point was that taking the time to inform her was unnecessary. She draws a weapon, she gets gunned down without further commentary."You chose your side Elnora, and you lost."

I don't like renegade Shepards dialogue, I don't think she's a threat (shields/armor) and her only crime is shooting a drug dealer (morally, that's no different from Garrus' revenge against Saleon and Sidonis).

I can understand why people shoot her (she pulls a gun). I just explained why I didn't shoot her (and would have arrested her, if possible), let alone hate her.

So you're going to pull the moral card, eh? Even though her 'moral shooting' of a drug dealer wasn't like Kevin Costner's character in 'The Untouchables' but more akin to a mob enforcer killing a troublesome lackey on orders from the Don?

Don't tell that to Blob. He's convinced that he alone holds all the heroic answers and understands the art of narrative video game design and storytelling. His answers here have been nothing short of lolworthy.

I didn't kill people like Fist or the merc during Thane's recruitement mission either. So how exactly is this a double standard?

The problem with Elnora is she got the big head thinking she can kill anything after killing the Volus. She felt invincable and paid for it with her life

And where's the double standard, exactly? I can't even think of a similar situation in the series. My Shepards are more or less pure paragons (80/20 maybe). Many paragon decisions seemed to work on the concept of second chances. Elnora isn't any different.

What? I don't like that Asari girl either, but now you are just making things up. How exactly does whimpering in a corner and then trying to talk herself out of a dangerous situation by playing an innocent girl translate into feeling invincible?
Because where I come from it doesn't.

If you have time to think about killing someone, you have time to die. You don't give her that chance. Kill her.

At that moment she did otherwise she would never of pulled out her weapon to begin with knowing she's facing 3 people with their weapons drawn. How is that been innocent?

Wow. No idea how this went from 'Elnora sucks' to heatedly accusing someone of favoritism between alien species but okay. Right, sounds like you guys got history.
Anyways, I thought she was innocent. When the gun thing happened, that felt like how the salarian workers in Nassana's building drew a gun on me. I like to play paragon Shep and didn't want to gun down those I thought were scared innocent people. After finding that recording that showed shes not only a criminal, but also an arrogant psychopath who enjoys killing and now probably finds herself so cheeky for fooling someone of her innocence, I hate her and I would like to kill her.
Atleast there's the comfort of giving the evidence to Anaya.

Her dumb move of drawing a weapon (which she doesn't even use unless you take the interrupt) does not change the fact that she was trying to talk herself out of the situation. Nor does it change the fact that she was wimpering in a corner before that. Again none of these actions translate into feeling invincible at all. Which brings us back to my main point, which is that you are making things up.
Now all those other mercs that attack Shepard even though s/he slaughtered dozens of them before, those apparently think they are invincible

When I listened to what Pinte For had said about how every Eclpise sister had to commit a murder to earn their uniform, and having already seen first hand what kind of a scum organization the Elclipse are, I already had enough reason to believe that Elnora was not innocent. When she drawed her gun on me was just final straw(I would have spared her if she had not done that).

The salarian pulls it straight away. She does it after trying to distract Shepard. That screamed liar to me.

She was all tough bragging about how she killed the Volus and at that moment may of felt invinvcible facing Shepard not realizing it would be a bad idea. Yes she was whimpering, but that disappeared in a hurry

Might I recommend "Dexter," season 1, episode 2: "Crocodile." Can't let yourself be taken in by someone who can stick out their bottom lip and squeak out a few tears on cue. I think it was Zaeed who said despots are cowards.
