I don't think it has anything to do with pirated or legal copies. I think it has to do with a) not finishing the game and B) certainly not replaying to see different possible endings. Because it may not have been possible on their first (finished or unfinished) playthrough, they assume it's not possible at all.

In fact I meant just that. I've seen quite an intake of posters coming from a certain forum above this one, that never played DA:O, and come down under for the sole reason of posting false negative claims about DA:O

I seriously wonder why they do that, but one never really knows what's inside am human brain, I guess...

Here we go again....this guy doesn't agree with other people's opinions on the game.

So, he starts making stupid claims that others haven't played it yet...because if you played the game you must recognize that it's the best thing since the invention of the wheel...like really dude. Image IPB

In as much as some people are claiming that plot-wise, some things aren't possible when they are...in those cases, I think it's a fair assumption. :B

If playing a chaotic evil madman has as little effect as you depict in this thread, then yeah, that's somehting they should try to work on in DA 2. (and again, I don't even play evil characters myself, but I'm more concerned about the effect of consequences)

I'm assuming by "chaotic evil madman" you mean "Psychotic **** who loves murdering/raping/etc for the sheer thrill of making other people squirm". ...As in my above post, such a character DOES NOT MAKE SENSE in the DA:O story. Such a character would say "Blight? **** this!" and go be a psychotic **** in Orlais or something. DA:O is a story about fighting the Blight. A character who would have no interest in that simply doesn't make sense given the story...hence Bioware didn't include options for it.

It has been said here already (by me and others) why fighting the Blight is something an evil char would do, too.
And if it´s "madly evil" there is yet another reason: "Killing darkspawn would be fun to such a person, wouldn´t it?

If you played the game, simply register it. You have no reason not to.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the fact that you do see the consequences of your action is just that, a fact, it's not a matter of opinion, simply because such portions of the game are there for everyone to see.

Hence, your claims are false, and I am brought to wonder why you come here to post false claims.

Whoa...there's no need to be angry simply because I'm exposing you're nonsensical posts.

Notice people...he's baiting me by trying to get me to post spoilers.
He also doesn't read very well apparently. I already described why I believe what I believe.

"hey people! look at me, I'm right!"
"why are you right? you don't make much sense"
"Because I say so!"

Again, you posted that you don't can't see the consequences of your actions. We shown you several cases in which you do. There isn't much more to it.

There are no evil Grey Wardens. You can't really play evil in this game. Your choices don't affect the outcome of the story nearly as much as BioWare says so most choices are purely cosmetic as it is.

Hrm. I'd say a certain Warden that appears in a DLC could be considered pretty evil, depending on your viewpoint.

You might want to check my profile :D
You know, i did register the game, you didn't, and from what you say it's quite evident that you haven't played it.

There are matters that are not matter of opinion. You told that you don't see the consequences of your actions, we gave you plenty examples in which you do. Ergo, you're wrong, and you probably don't know what you're talking about. Play the game, then come back please.

Yet another false claim. Grey Wardens do what they must, whatever it takes. They conscript people of any moral standards. Sariele's example is one, on top of that, you can recruit a reasonably evil person during the game in the ranks of the grey wardens.
Given that I see no character data in your profile, I venture to say that you need to actually play the game and then come back.

Still not backing up his statements with examples.
He wants us to drink the kool aid so we can become a zombie just like him.

No, it's quite obvious someone can't read well. That 'someone' being the person who's wanting examples in the no-spoiler forum. Are you asking for them to get other people banned? Or are you simply oblivious to the meaning of "no-spoilers."

Well, It's an interesting experience in this game.

I mean, you're actually going to get ahead in most cases by being a ****** who's only out for yourself, but Bioware also makes it very well known that hardly anyone else will like you and people will suffer because of your actions. I mean, who can look at that poor sobbing girl in the Chantry and not agree to help her? Well, other than Morrigan.

Bioware did a very good job in this regard for Dragon Age.

If you're not asking for specific details then you already got your general examples. I don't know what else to tell you, except actually, you know, read the thread if you want them.

Maybe Mass Effect 2 will be better.
DA consequences are boring...it's just cosmetic.

Let me repeat what I already said....the ending is boring because all you get are a few short dialogues and some written summaries about what happens after the game ends.

as a matter of fact, most of those choices have much more than "cosmetic" consequences. We gave you examples. You chose to plug your ears and continue screaming "lalalalala i can't hear you!".

Keep drinking the kool aid.
Anybody who has actually seen the ending of the game would concur with what I saw....though they might just be satisified with what little they got. I wasn't satisified becuase I believe it was too little.

Anybody who actually played the game knows that most of the consequences you see even before the game finishes.
Oops.

As a matter of fact, how old are you?

I expected a more interactive ending....and it was not IMO.
