Hello.

 

Several years ago I finished Mass Effect trilogy for the first time, and the ending shocked me. Until then I’ve never had a favorite game, one that stands out among those I had played, but Mass Effect captivated me. It touched me. From beginning to end. The trilogy is on that pedestal.

 

I’ve always chosen the same ending (destroy ending), but I recognize it left me some anxiety. After playing it for the second time it occurred to me that I could write an extended ending to what is seen in Mass Effect 3. A tribute from me to the story that for so long has touched me (and still does).

 

I haven’t modified the game’s ending, neither the events which happen in the trilogy. This epilogue begins at the same point at which Mass Effect 3 ends. Hace varios años que acabé la trilogía Mass Effect por primera vez, y el final me impactó. Hasta la fecha jamás había tenido un juego preferido, uno que destacase entre aquellos que había jugado, pero Mass Effect me cautivó. Me emocionó. De principio a fin. La trilogía ocupa ese pedestal.

 

Siempre he escogido el mismo final (el de destrucción), pero reconozco que me dejaba cierta desazón. Tras rejugarla por segunda vez se me ocurrió escribir un final ampliado a lo que se ve en Mass Effect 3. Un homenaje por mi parte a la historia que durante tanto tiempo me ha emocionado (y sigue haciéndolo).

 

No he modificado el final del juego, tampoco los hechos acontecidos en la trilogía. Este epílogo comienza en el mismo punto en que acaba Mass Effect 3. I just read this and it's a great ending to what I found as a bad ending to the game. I would have much rather something like this to be a possible ending. Your choices also are almost exactly like mine, except I never met Aethyta. I am going to do another run through on ME3 to see if I can met her. 

 

A great ending and fan fiction, a few grammar errors but it didn't take away from the overall enjoyment of your story. Thanks very much for writing this, makes me feel much better about ME3 ending. Now if only Bioware had done something like this and keep it open to allow for a sequel based on Shepard. Liara, Garus and the team.
