This is a reference meant for everything important about the Chasing Spectres Roleplay thread. In here, you'll find links to player character posts, important non-player characters, equipment, ships, places, and information of note. The intent is that the authors/players of Chasing Spectres have somewhere to go for easy access to anything they might need as they continue forward with their writing and characters. Could you add this shotgun to the list? In the games the Hierarchy doesn't provide any shotguns though in artwork Tsol uses a Graal. This gun is just to fill that particular hole for now.

Wait, that link takes me to the incident where Essul is viewing a video tape of the colony.  I don't see a description of the Caracara in that post, unless I'm missing it.

 

Also, if you would, please give me a link to the first mention of Essul's use of the drug and I'll list it.

 

Note:  Basically I want to list the important stuff that is going to be repeat referred to.   A comprehensive index but one that won't take too long to scroll through.  For example, I just took off our resident quarian, as much as I liked him.  I didn't transfer him to the npc section even because it doesn't look like anyone is going to pick up the character.  Another example is I asked RedBelle if I should bump Anika to player character status because at this point, she is really acting like one.

 

Equipment goes the same way.  I may pull Naleena's shuttle to description, Scythe shuttle after a while because VERA is now on the Janiri and it will be a more useful entry if the reference is to Scythe's in general rather than the one specific shuttle.  Maybe that's too particular I don't know.  But you guys get the point.

 

In other words, if you have an important calculator that makes its appearance once, it probably won't be listed no matter how unique it is.  But if you have to have another author remember Essul needs a drug and how that functions, it should be entered at least under the character description, and if it will come up for more than Essul, it gets its own entry (like Essuls SMG could certainly show up with other batarians or by another PC).  I might also put something in for fun if it's just entertaining to link to.  Like Vayne's mecha-steed

Jen Severn 27 years old on her way to being a doctor, namely neurologist and brain surgeon. Basically a fan and genius on the subject, if still in need of study. She has a chronic genetic disorder which is incredibly expensive to treat and requires 2 hour of treatment a day but she leads a regular life because of her care. Dark long hair, dark eyes, olive skin tone. She doesn't resemble Morgan so much but more her mother

@TJByrum, first off, check out the third link at the top of this thread, for Discussion.  That's where to take the conversation about this rpg and jumping in.  This is an index thread which is really just a reference thread for the story.

Second, you'll see another link for characters.  There are plenty of templates for filling in there, to make your person.  Sum it up...this is a post ME2 rpg with a few things changed in the universe, the main one being the Reaper War of ME3 isn't coming for 10 years...which is basically so far ahead of the story it isn't much of an issue.  Our main guy who started this, Terca, has bowed out but checks in so a few of us have running stories that we regularly talk to each other about.  The people who've stuck with this have been in it for over a year but there's always room.  Here's what I'd tell you right off the bat.

1.  You have to get a sense of a character who'd fit.  Too OP is no good, and most characters aren't like Commander Shepard here, with giant long lists of skills or anything like that.  They aren't also scrubs either.  More like the kind of character on the level of a 20th ME3 multiplayer character or better?  It's an rpg so that may be a bad analogy but Shepard squadmate level?  That's how I'd describe it

2.  Patience getting integrated is key.  Sometimes characters haven't met other characters for a while and that's because are plot lines just go on.  In other words, you might have to be more of a self started to jump into this, not someone who waits for stuff to happen.  Everyone currently writing is a great self-generator of their own action, while also being extremely considerate of what the other writers are doing. 

3.  Regular small posting on a daily, or every other day, or generally frequent basis is FAR better than the mega posts, though we certainly have those too, thanks to (guilty as charged) desire to get in depth.  Sometimes we do interactions 'in game' on the thread, sometimes we assemble them by PM first then post.  Point is, it's like taking vitamins...  Episodal.  TV like.  With some cool mini-movies. 

Okay, that's my explanation and I'm not the only one involved in this.  But check it out I'd say by reading a few of the last pages we've written, read some of the main player characters, see if you could fit yourself in with a Spectre team, and there you go.
