So I play so many games with my friends and they Fury so well I want to try it. I don't know how to Fury. I just do not- I don't even know WHAT THE COMBOS ARE for her! And I have a feeling she's a great class to play on Gold on my PC account since I really need to build my manifest on there. I just played with Clyde today *waves hello* and his Fury was beautiful stuff. I want to try it. Can anyone give me some basic tips for Fury pretty please?

Venom.

This.

As for combos,

1. AF + throw - the standard way. Use venom to stagger mooks, run up to them and use throw on an enemy within AF radius.

2. DC + throw - on atlases and primes because they are cheating pieces of sh*t. I hate getting staggered and shield gated instantly when I run upto them.

3. DC + AF - the slightly less conventional way to do things. I use it on banshees (sometimes) while in their casting stance so as to not trigger their hand-of-denial.

As for other stuff, use AM III and spec AF for movement speed boost. This will help you close distances quickly and create BEs. Spec into shield drain evo of AF as well.

Turn on AF at the beginning of every wave, run in and throw EVERY LIVING THING

I dont like maxing dark channel. I just use it to take advantage of warp ammo on the beefcake enemies. And shotguns. Always shotguns.

Maxing all 3 powers and going 5/3 or 4/4 in passives and fitness is fine too

I skip DC and use the CSMG for the most part, Simone. It's all face to face combat, so the light weapon + AF constantly priming means nonstop booms. Close quarters maps help her shine even more.

Today I used the Venom in the game we played. I'll send you the build when I can manage it (translate: when I'm not on mobile)

Thanks Smecks, are you going to be on today? I may get on a bit later (but the boom on my mic needs replacing so I'll be running on radio silence for a week).

Maybe I'm going to check out my son's new house, if I'm not on later most definitely tomorrow afternoon.

You only need Dark Channel to rank 3.. to setup Warp ammo on boss targets. Since her only cooldown that you use often (throw) is so short.. she can pack some slightly heavier weapons. I like the Graal or Raider on her. People go gonzo for her super fast biotic explosions bc to be honest.. walking up to an enemy with Annihilation Field on, then blasting them in the face with the Raider does WAY more damage.. and if they survive bc you missed or whatever, you can still throw/BE them.

If you want the most effective weapon setup possible then that's the Acolcrutch/Hurricrutch combo. Nothing survives an Acolyte shot followed up with a AF+Throw biotic explosion except bosses. For bosses... Hit em with Dark Channel and go to town with the hurricane. Its pretty damn cheesy.

Yeah it definitely can be looked upon as cheesy but I have my reasons:

1)I've used the class maybe once- and therefore I can now unwrap her and she's a novelty for me unlike all the other veterans since I never used her.

2)I'm very low on the totem pole on PC with my manifest and I want to be able to utilize caster classes so that I can hold my own in Gold at least and maximize the damage I can put out despite my lame weapons scenario.

Hosting may change your experience, because of the tele-dodges. Try an Adrenaline for some really fast action. If you're familiar with the Valkyrie you'll see some similarities with "going close". A strong weapon to kill any opposition that doesn't get blown up by the AF-throw combo is recommended - alternatively you can use a tool gun to stagger. A Venom does both of it.

I play Venom, Javelin, Graal, Claymore, Piranha, and Black Widow, Fury aside from the usual Acolyte and Hurricane Fury.

I like Scorpion on her... I'm not a good Acolyte user.. I hate charging guns.... I think I now used her with the CSMG.. Scorpion is fun though

The fury is a pit bull with spikes strapped on her body, rushing into a pack of starved wolves. Play aggressively as you possibly can, it's the only way you will learn closed quarters combat. Slap on a piranha or raider and lay down the law!

Dawww

Here's my Fury build and loadout ~ http://kalence.drupa...24N54384!G9D55G

^Used that for the Platinum Solo I did recently and was very happy! ^_^

The way I play the Fury is close combat relying mostly on AF + Throw to destroy all the things. Getting close to enemies with Annihilation Field active will prime them for a Biotic Explosion using throw. AF is that dark aura that surrounds your Fury when active. Just a warning: sometimes AF can be glitchty. It will show it as activated when it is actually off. You will know when you have the glitch if AF appears on, yet enemies are not being primed when you get close.

My main weapon is the Acolyte because it is just delicious when paired with the Fury. Tempest is what I bring for boss enemies or if I want more of a challenge and style points. Most people probably think I'm crazy for using it on Platinum, bwhahaha! It gets the job done just fine. I use the Power Magnifier on my weapons because I rely more on my powers than actually firing a weapon. I'm mostly doing BEs so the benefit is minimal, but I feel it is more useful than the magazine clips in my situation. I always use Warp Ammo.

Personally I like to max Dark Channel these days. Very useful against bosses and on maps where CC becomes suicidal. Like the Condor/Geth/Platinum game I had last night. I couldn't do my typical running around or I would get stun locked to death. Had to hang back and rely on DC + Throw for the most part. Your DC + Throw Biotic Explosions will be stronger as well with it maxed.

Usually I prefer taking a cyclonic because I'm constantly in the enemies face and taking damage, also because I'm usually playing Platinum. I can see how the adrenaline module would be helpful as well and is probably better when playing Gold games. Really just comes down to personal preference and what you're more comfortable with.

Crutch/Geth Scanner is a must when I play the Fury. That way I can see what spawns are safe to charge and where I can safely teleport. Speaking of teleporting... practice using her dodge and heavy melee if you can. Both can teleport you through walls which is extremely useful in getting out of bad situations and saving teammates. Just can be a bit hard to get used to.

Hopefully I could help you a bit.

You will be the one playing her, so do it in a way that you enjoy no matter how different or cheesy it seems to others. ;)

The fury's all about reaction speed and measured aggression.

It's a lot harder to play her off-host because you're reacting to stuff after it's already happened, so make sure your hosting the first few times you try her to make things easier on yourself.

Unfortunately, some people just can't play her even on host effectively because she's so dependant on twitch gamer skills, but everyone should try the fury a few times at least.

If you have it, the asari Valkyrie can make a decent intro to making good use of annihilation field, give the Valkyrie a go with cyclonics until you're comfortable, then switch to Adrenaline Module's, then come back to the fury once you've gotten used to that.

You can also use the cabal or the slayer to practice teleport usage, if you have them.

Never heard this?  There's some problem when a host is using Fury?  Or are you referring to the original poster's (Mrs_anomaly's) host?
