My first post on the Bioware forums, huzzah!

I'm sure there are people out there who wonder about what happened to our Orlesian friends over the years.

I'm talking about Rhys, Evangeline, Regalyan, Avexis, and Adrian (well, if you could call Adrian a friend...okay, nobody can.). ^_^

Cole's reference to Rhys and Evangeline makes it sound like something's happened to them, or that they've forgotten him. Did the attack at Andoral's Reach happen yet? What year are we in at the start of DA:I?

Regalyan? Was he around the White Spire during Asunder? Has Cassandra kept in touch with him over the years? Just how old IS Cassandra?

Questions, questions, questions!

Avexis is the one that I'm worried has been forgotten about. I mean, she can control creatures...like DRAGONS! She would be about or around 30 years old at the time of DA:I. Here I am wishing this character gets a bit more spotlight for having an ability that would seem to play a little more importance in the DRAGON Age.  >_<

Did I mention a fifth person??

Let us cling together and try to keep sane 'til October. :o

Cheers!

~Lux

I'm willing to bet Adrian is going to show up as a prisoner of the Red Templars and we'll have to decide whether or not to let her go.

That's going to be an interesting situation. On the one hand, I think she's an unlikeable cow who got off too easy for what she did in Asunder.

On the other hand, my Inquisitor doesn't have anything personally against her and wouldn't know of her crimes. Being left in the hands of the Red Templars would also be very cruel, especially if she has been tortured. If I left her there, can I really claim any moral high ground?

Panehadan to the forum. According to the wiki both the leaders of the Chantry and the mages are killed in the explosion at the peace conference at the temple of Sacred Ashes. This strongly implies that maybe Fiona some of the senior mages and Divine Justina and some grand clerics might be killed. As to the other characters we met, I hope Rhys and Evangaline survive. We'll find out in October.

Welcome to the BSN.

We don't really know what has happened to any of them.

They could just still be separated. Maybe Cole thinks the Inquisition can help him find them.

The attack has not happened yet as far as I am aware.

The year is 9:40, maybe 9:41

No idea where he is or if Cassandra and him remained in contact or even remained friends.

Best guesstimates have her in her mid to late 30s since she was a mid to late teenager in DotS.

I hope Avexis gets more screentime too. I always liked her.

Andaran atish’an. Xil is an fan of Adrian. :) I'm curious about their fate, given the ominous news about the tragedy that befalls the peace conference at the ruins of the temple. It's possible we may run into some characters from Asunder during the storyline of Inquisition; as others have pointed out, there's still a great deal that we don't know at this point in time.

Why?

There weren't really any reasons to like or dislike her. She wasn't so much a character as a living plot device. If she had been replaced with a magical artifact that could control dragons, her function within the movie would be basically the same.

I've always grown attached to even minor characters. Can't really explain why.

I'd still be nice to see or hear from her and Regalyan again

Wouldn't something like that depend on us reading the books? Unless we get to know her in the game first it wouldn't make sense for us to just stumble on someone and be expected to know enough about their backstory. Otherwise she'd just be a random mage captive.

There's a good chance Rhys, Evangeline and Adrian are dead (maybe not Adrian) because of the Breach happening at the Peace Summit. I'm gonna assume they are until I am wrong when the game comes out. On Adrian, I like thats1evildude's idea about her being a captive prisoner. Now for Regalyan, I doubt we'll see him unless it's in Val Royeaux.

Yeah, I'm a pessimist so I'm going to assume the worst and say they are dead.  That way I won't be disappointed if they are dead and if they aren't then I'm pleasantly surprised.

Every old character dies in the fade explosion. Yes this includes Alistair, Morrigan, Rhys, Sebastian, the warden, Hawke.

It cleans house.

We know that isn't true for Morrigan. And the Seekers were looking for the Warden and Hawke for those peace talks but couldn't find them. (Plus imagine the shitstorm if they killed off our prior player characters in anything but a heroic manner.)

We don't really know yet when Alistair and/or Anora will show up, though, and they'd have many a reason to be there if they are king/queen, which is why I'm kind of worried about them, but I'm very much sure that they still have plans for revelations and developments around King Alistair in their ancillary media, so nah, they should be fine.

Justinia definitely dies in the event, and since Alimommy--as leader of the rebellion--has to be there, too, she's most assuredly doomed as well. If I don't get to at least see Fiona act curiously proud of or disappointed in Alistair in front of my pre-Inquisitor(s) before she dies, I'll be extremely disgruntled myself, though.

Rhys and Adrian--as fraternity leaders--should be there but don't necessarily have to be. It would be just like that she-hound for Adrian to escape death, maybe even knowingly so. And I kind of love the idea that's come up in the Cole thread a couple of times that Rhys got captured and turned Tranquil, but since he knows how to reverse the process through contact with a spirit (dangling plot thread!), Cole's companion quest could be just that. (It would warm the cockles of my heart for sure.)

Evangeline surely could be there but doesn't really have much of a reason to. And the spirit in here should keep her alive, so with the Inquisitor being the sole survivor, I'm hopeful she wasn't there.
