So I'm playing as a solider in my ME2 game and I beat the game once on Veteran. I started a new game on insanity (my first time), I imported that save data to a new game. And it looks like the ONLY thing that transferred over was my level. I started out as a level 30 but thats it. I don't have my weapons (I NEED my Revenant...), armor upgrades, or anything. I'm only ticked I don't have my weapons. Is it suppose to be like this?? I'm still on Mordins recruit mission because of my weak weapons lol

Is this for PS3? If so, then damn. Here I was worrying about whether or not the Genesis comic would interfere with my NG+ ME2 which was imported from ME1.

Yes this is for PS3. This sucks because if I knew it was gonna be like this, I would of just imported ME1 and just start insanity from there.

My question is how can you not have the Revenant? The weapon you choose on the Collector Ship should transfer over. As for upgrades--and this is for everybody--you have to buy them again. It's always been like that.

Or any other weapon for that matter, I seriously don't know. I'm thinking that its a glitch but idk.

What do you mean you 'do not have your weapons'?

If you are on Freedoms Progress, this is expected, as the game all your available weapons to the default (Avenger, Mantis, Katana, Predator, Shuriken). Once you get to the Normandy again, you will have access to your weapons.

Weapons and armor obtained in the previous playthrough will carry over to NG+ as will your level and points assigned. Research upgrades will not carry over to NG+ and must be found/purchased and researched again.

I got on the Normandy and my weapons was not there, I checked. Only the default weapons was there. My level and points was the only thing that transferred over to my new save data.

I cannot answer your original question, but I will say that it is probably better to start your insanity run from an import game rather than an NG+. The reason is the upgrades won't be there at the start but the enemies will have level 30 health/armor/barrier/shields (assuming your ME2 import was a level 30 character). This is less important for a Soldier since Adrenaline Rush cool down is not effected by any upgrades, but for any of the power classes, that missing 20% cool down upgrade kinda stinks when facing maxed out enemies.

Yeah, you SHOULD have weapons.

Missing all the upgrades is standard, though, which means NG+ actually tends to get EASIER as you go along.

Did you beat ME2 with this SAME Soldier before? If not then that's why you only got Standard Weapons. If you beat the ME2 on say a Vanguard, then go and do New Game+ on a different career that different career won't get all the goodies your Vanguard had.

. You started a new game on insanity. That is why you start from scratch. You can have an insanity gameplay by importing a ME-2 character. Then those guns and leveled powers remain for your insanity playtrough.
