My Inquisitor will be a bit too busy closing rifts to make economic warfare, conquer half of Thedas or try his hand at the spy game, at least at first. When the main quest is dealt with I think he'll "spread the influence of the Inquisition" in the most logical way possible at any given time, so I guess it'll depend on what exactly he's trying to do and how things work in any particular region.

How do you expect you will get to the riffs without the means of getting to them?

I will have it be relatively equal in terms of spy networks and military with about 1-2 merchants in each major region (aka orlais and ferelden) so about 4 holds for merchant stuff total.

Hard to say without knowing what part the keeps are going to play in the big picture. The decision could be pretty meaningless (you always get the agents one way or another, the only difference being the text that explains them), have minor consequences (you get access to some gathering quests instead of others) or major consequences (main quests may be affected).

In my first playthrough I'll probably make use of all three strategies provided there isn't a huge incentive to devote yourself to one exclusively.  Later on it will probably have to do with my Inquisitor's class, but I might want to mix things up and make a sneaky warrior or a militaristic rogue.  I won't know for sure until I get the game and start making decisions on my Inquisitor's personality.

I dunno they all sound so appealing.  One of each no doubt.

Spies. Why go to war to topple a regime when a bag of gold in the right hand, a secret whispered in the right ear, and a drop of poison in the right glass will have the same effect?

Since political . maneuvering won't be a thing, then being a economic Lynchpin will be the next best thing with a couple spies in the mix should I need insider info on my enemies.

All I know right now is that I want the loudest most in your face Inquisition ever. One that announces its presence wherever it goes and is accompanied by a whole hoard of minstrels and flag wavers.

I'll invest equal resources in all three factions, mainly because I believe that the well-being of the Inquisition requires a balance between the three pillars.

As for how I'll approach each faction,I think it'll depend on the mission. There are circumstances  where stealth is preferred, while others that require diplomacy and political outmanoeuvring. But there are also times when Intimidation and a direct approach, are far more effective.

Probaply mix of all and depending on my quizzy putting more weight to one. I think my dalish quizzy will invest in spies and my qunari quizzy in military.
