Lol. Thank you.

Why does QME acolyte make you vomit? My entire list was broken kits, why does the poor quarian make you ill?

To be honest they could be more broken, but that is subjective.

Allow me to answer your question with another question: Why the Acolyte on a kit that has Arc Grenades?

Cool downs, ammo type apply, guaranteed Mook insta death in under 1 second without using a grenade without me having to aim.

If we are talking broke, I'm using Cryo iv.

Acolyte shot + incinerate destroys mooks immediately without wasting a nade. Those are saved for spawn nuking, lol. Acolyte requires me to not even have to aim, whereas with a talon I have to kind of try to hit the target. I'm sure that's broke too, but I find with an acolyte it's even more brain dead.

Also I use arcs for setting off explosions, not shield stripping. This way I don't even need to use thermal clips or run to the ammo box every two seconds.

Like I said, OP and braindead.

Harrier/Talon/Herpecane QME is the most broken IMO.. introducing major boss damage with all that AOE spawn nuking takes it way over the top.

From the same developer that brought you Armored Compartments.

I would have chosen something with more 'punch' since the only thing the QME doesn't wipe out in seconds are heavily armoured boss units, such as Praetorians/Banshees/Atlases. But even they can be destroyed thanks to Tac Scan, just not with an Acolyte.

I should also mention that I am no fan of Acolyte only setups, I think they lack versatility.

It's nowhere near as bad. I wish I saw Armored Compartments as much as I see the TGI. Maybe then.. someone else would use rockets on objectives or spawn nuke obnoxious waves.

I forgot to mention for ultimate broke I include a backup hurricane (ultralight/piercing). Although quite frankly, even on platinum....Acolyte shot + incinerate + an arc grenade does an insane amount of damage to bosses too. Hurricane is almost unnecessary.

The change to fire explosions really did push him into 'top tier'

The argus or vindicator on the TGI feels very balanced. The TGI plays into their weaknesses well enough that the guns don't feel overpowered, but are far more useful than they would be on most other characters. No cure for scrub packs though.

Never tried my new Harrier X on him since it was at level IV. Think I'll give it a spin today. :D

Otherwise, if I see a Ghost with a high enough leveled Harrier, it must mean he should be good enough to do without that kind of cheese? Though sadly I can be wrong with this too quite often, I just don't always take that chance and bail on these lobbies sometimes. Cause even if someone is a very terrible player, seeing them with this kit and not learning at all, but using stuff like left hand advantage and a fistful of stimpacks, just makes me cringe a little too much for my liking.

Though I still play with plenty of Ghost Harrier players, cause, well, they are everywhere.

I love him for Gold runs, one of the better kits to handle leechers

No, I've handled leechers with much worse setups, and succeeded as a team too. That's how you handle leechers, but making them learn how to play as a team and earning their own credits. Not you Ramboing everything for them with one of the cheapest setups in ME3mp. Go solo if you want that.

Confessionz time: I enjoy TGI (because turians are the best), just not with harrier. I have lots of fun with the spitfire, phaeston, valkyrie, revenant, and mattock. Hell, even the mantis. And AR omni blade melee setups. No shame

I actually enjoy playing him from time to time too, but with PPR or Lancer.

He's the only kit I've found that makes the Avenger bearable.

I agree with this since there are so many ways to get high level gear now.

I will say that playing him on Gold felt like I was playing on Bronze mostly. My experience contributed to that as well as gearing him up with level 3 items when level 1 or 2 would have sufficed.

As far as other people using him or the other top tier kits, I don't mind as long as I have fun in the match. If I didn't have fun it is no biggie as I usually play 1 match and jump lobbies anyway. It is rare for me to be in for 2 or more with the same group unless it was a really good match. A good match doesn't always mean quick and efficient either. It can be sideways the whole time and frantic, but some of those matches are the best.

I'll admit though, back in my earlier playing days I used the 'Avoid' list for players who took the enjoyment out of playing.

Once you've seen a TGI + Harrier spend 10 minutes trying to kill 2x Banshees, you might change your mind.

Not to mention pretty much the only kit on which it is in fact "deadly when fired on full auto".

You handle leechers by letting them bleed out, waiting till there's one enemy left, then running around the map for 30 minutes until they leave or you decide to end it all right there. Don't earn that scum credits.. that reinforces their already scummy behavior.

I might do this. I don't know why I never thought of it before.

There was one game I had a long time ago when two players decided to camp/snipe from the glitch spot on Hydra.

The 3rd player left, but not me. I spent 10 minutes throwing Arc Grenades at them, until by sheer luck we got a pizza delivery, and I kept it all to myself

If someone is idle leeching (standing in vulnerable spots to suicide), I will use all of my equipment if necessary to keep them alive so they get das boot.

You must of course turn on your mic and put Benny Hill music going over it while you run around.

Personally I wouldn't derive any enjoyment from trying to teach people who most likely don't want to be taught two things: jack and ****. If I wanted to do that, I would have followed my original career choice of public school teacher, and it would be making a difference of fair greater significance than helping someone play a video game at some arbitrarily decided higher standard.

Plus just finishing a game and dropping out of the lobby afterwards is a lot less exasperating than trying to tell the umpteenth person "come help with the hack and stop standing in the hail of gunfire". But to each their own.

Nah, of course the song "I touch myself" with random grunting noises over the mic is perfectly appropriate in NucTech land.
