I am still confused about how to redeam this:

The new Bioware FAQ says enter your code in your social account and then you can check your terminal in game and get the armor. Is this just for the PC, or for the XBOX as well?

I have also heard that if you played DAO  and downloaded the armor the xbox will autosearch for it on your hard drive and it will be in your inventory or you will have to check your terminall when you play the game

I have also heard thar you have to have your promo code still and enter it into the redeam code section of the me2 360 menu.

Also, are we supposed to link our social accounts to the game somehow? How does this work for 360 users.

Has there been a 100% confirmed answer on how to redeam this, and other promos?

I'm also curious that if I used the Blood Dragon Armor code for DA on the PC, will I get the ME2 armor for the 360?

I am not sure. But Dragin armor sounds neat, I hadn't heard of it yet.

It does but there is nothing in there, i am playing with the 360 so should I get my code and register it? I used the code in the gaem menu for DAO and it doesn't show up in my DAO section under the promotions. There was a section for redeem code in the 360 version.

It looks like you have registered DA:O just fine. I think this may be an issue for support. It's smart to be on top of it already though

The redeem code page says to make sure you are logged into same social account that you use for your in game account. Does that mean I am going to be able to use my social account in the game, or is it linked to mygamertag email address?

when I look into my " Registered Game Promotions" it shows dragons blood armour for BOTH 360, and PC....and I used a code with a 360 DA:O, so I'm pretty sure it will carry over no problems.

I guess my big question ow is do I have the option in ME2, to put in my email address for my Social account?

My social account is linked to my gamertag, when i go to the page that says enter promo code, it shows me emailto my social, and my gamertag. Also i entered the DA:O blood dragon code for pc, and under registered game promotions, it shows blood dragon for pc and xbox in mass effect 2.

Ah it seems you haven't registered the promocode for your Blood Dragon Armor for DA:O in the first place.



From the DA:O website:

Purchase a new copy of Dragon Age: Origins (regular or Collector's Edition) and receive a code to download Blood Dragon Armor, a full set of armor that grants exceptional protection in combat.



Activate the code in Dragon Age: Origins and the Blood Dragon Armor will also unlock for use in BioWare's upcoming science fiction epic, Mass Effect 2. Take your armor to the edge of the galaxy!



I'd recommend looking up the case of your copy of DA:O and check if there's a voucher in there to register your BDA.

Well the only time i put in my gamertag was for my EA account when i played DA:O on xbox, then when i made an account here, same email, it just knew, are your bioware social and ea account the same?

This is what i did as well, I have all my codes for DAO in hand still, and I just tried to register them under the redeem code page, even though I have already used them in game and it says that it has already been redeemed. S I guess I will have to wait and see what happens. My guess is that my gamertag is not linked to my social account, and I dont know how to do that. Even though have registered the game under my sicial account and it shows up.

I've bought DA:O for PC and if I go and see my registered promotions, for DA:O the Blood Dragon Armor is only for PC, but for Mass Effect 2 the Blood Dragon Armor is both for PC and Xbox 360 ^^

It's true for Xbox 360 aswell. To get BDA in Dragon Age, i had to redeem the code here on the social site and then link it to my Gamertag so then i could download it whilst connected to the internet.

When I got my Dragon Armor in Dragon Age I simply entered my code from a game menu in Dragon Age. I'm guessing you can do the same for Mass Effect 2 on the Xbox as well.

It would be nice to have a Dev answer but we all know that the Devs are all playing Mass Effect 2 right now.

The code is a one-time enter thing.

What it does, however, is register a BDA Promo DLC on both the 360 and PC versions of ME2 on your profile. I remember this being stated before regarding information on the BDA DLC for DA.

Remember that behind the Bioware Social Network is an EA Account, tied together by email address.



You can link your gamertag by going to https://profile.ea.com/myinfo.do and select Add Persona.
