If you do not think it will be worth it, simply don't preorder and wait for reviews. You can then determine if that is more than you want to pay. On the other hand, I haven't seen any new games coming out for less than that.

Are you pre ordering it on PC or consoles?

Seems like a PS4/XBO copy at that price. Where are you getting it, though? You can find it cheaper online, like the usual £40 mark.

If it is the PC version, then he should not be paying full price for it. Green man gaming has a 25 percent of coupon for preordering it right now.

I figured OP was trying to start an outcry, but I thought that was the going rate for the deluxe edition. Tis why I imagined this was just a troll thread, because 1) all red giant letters, and 2) not stating any specifications of WHAT version (console v pc, DDX v standard), and 3) no information about where that price was. In the iterest of thinking the best of humanity, maybe OP was just trying to get advice the way my kids try to get things: "Mooommmmmmiiiiiieeeeee, coookie!". Cheers ![]()

I'm paying over 90$ for the deluxe edition (damn import fee's) £49:99 doesn't seem that bad for a pre-order.

$90 here just for standard....gotta love not living in the states. UK and AUS suck for games.

I think the OP is talking about the pre-order price for the standard edition on Origins. You can get it for £40 from Game or Amazon. GMG flogging it for £38, not including shipping.

The pricing is interesting, particularly the variations US vs UK pricing.
USD/GBP FX is about $1.70USD to £1GBP at the moment.
Assume Xbox One:
A standard edition is $60 and £45 ($76) **
A deluxe edition is $70 and £60 ($102) *~
(*Standard edition and US deluxe pricing at Amazon. ~UK Game appears to have deluxe exclusive)
Upshot: US market gets a significant price saving vs other territories.
The UK deluxe edition appears particularly uncompetitive.

Yeah, there's definitely been a sharp upturn in UK PC prices lately. To be fair, this is after a long stagnation, but still the jump from £30 to £40 hurts. Well, those are the prices if you shop around a little, I think the Origin/Steam/RRP price has actually gone from £35 to £50
I actually got DA2 signature edition for £25 on pre-order, though that perhaps should have been a warning.

...here in Australia...
I'm waiting for the day an Australian tells me they had to sell their kidney to afford a new game. I'd probably believe them.
