Yeah, although they balanced the "Duration and Combo" evolution up to +75% in an attempt to get people to use it.  A 1.75x multiplier against a helpless health target...

Might be usefull for other unit in the blast radius !

Btw Capn, any info on how radius value really feel in game ? Cause most radius seem far more smaller in game than in description (Annihilation field for ex, bubble).

...might be useful on Bronze.

More for AOE damage than single target but yeah pretty useless in the grand scheme.

Generally some idiot kills the pulled enemy before you can detonate anyways so it's not like you're seeing that increased BE damage routinely anyways.

Every time the game says "radius" I take it to mean diameter. And obviously we have no real frame of reference for what one "meter" actually is in-game. Presumably human kits are about 1.8 meters tall, but who knows...

Before the buffs to Pull non 6+6 Pull/Reave Biotic Explosions didn't outright kill health targets on Bronze. We are spoiled by scaling explosions.

... How else am I supposed to take advantage of the warp ammo bonus otherwise? :P

Yeah usually it is like that.

I think the meters also work out closer if you assume models are more like 2m, but I think the last time I saw that sort of math it was for ME2 so that may not really apply.

I'm pretty sure that it's diameter. I guess someone tried to figure out what a meter is and chose radius instead when all the numbers became complicated.

BTW: Isn't there one of the sniper zooms that has a distance indicator in it?

No. Drell has got speed and better passives. Can't beat them there.

It would be close.  On a map like Glacier, planting a Warp Bubble in a hallway and then throwing Cluster Grenades at anything that walked through it would be pretty ridiculous.

The Cain Mine laser actually goes out further as you take more radius I believe. Someone could measure probably based on that.

Missiles!

Oddly enough, it does seem possible (although extremely rare). I've done solos where I've Incinerated a boss, then missiled it, and got credit for a Fire Explosion. It's very uncommon, though.

And yes, I'm positive I didn't use a detonator power on it. Just Incinerate > Missile.

Lawl! Techincally, any power that does damage upfront can detonate a FE, so if the missiles were considered powers... :pinched:

That's the thing, though. I'm positive the game considers them weapons.

They are certainly considered weapons for some regards. For example, they ignore bubbles. Still, I can see them being some sort of a hybrid for the game...

Nightshade Blades?

I thought those were in the poison-only class so they neither prime nor detonate.

I was thinking of Collector Melee in my head, but typed Nightshade Blades. The Collector melee will prime only, where Poison Strike can detonate biotics combos only, despite being a poison power. Then again, I haven't used the Turian Cabal Vanguard yet and this is all from memory, so I may not remember everything correctly.

My new favorite combo - Biotic Charge > Missile.

Wut? No, poison strike detonates tech combos, 100%. Actually I think it does *not* detonate biotics, although it's been a while since I've played the kit so I'm not sure anymore.

Also, since when does collector melee prime for combos? Never heard of this myself.

Ah alright, as I said it's been a long while and the Cabal has no biotic primer. But it surely detonates tech.

I forgot the the Turian Cabal can only detonate stuff not prime, that was where I went wrong. I was thinking she could prime and detonate with poison strike.

The Collector light melee (slow clap) will prime an enemy with biotic energy for a short period, which can be detonated. I've detonated it with Seeker Swarms.

I'm pretty sure I've never managed to detonate a BE with the Cabal, but I trust the mighty Night Slasher in this. Besides, I haven't put any points into Poison Strike for a while now. ^_^

Really? I never noticed it. I should try it next time I am on.

Only someone really stupid would kill an enemy with the slow clap or use the slow clap as a primary way to create BEs, cause we all know Dark Sphere and Dark Channel are just too simple and less hipster way of doing it. I'll admit slow clapping an enemy to death is very amusing, but not at all practical. Only an idiot like me would do it, especially on platinum.

I do think certain race's  heavy melee should be able to detonate or prime power combos.

Asari heavy melee should detonate enemies primed by biotics, as it's like a weaker version of flare. Maybe the Drell and Alliance Human heavy melees too.

Omni-blades with a tech effect, like the cryo, incendiary and disruptor, should prime tech combos.

Poison strike detonates everything in my experience. The AOE of it is weird though.
