OK so for all those who haven't seen, there is a new section on the main website - Redeem Code

http://social.bioware.com/redeem/

It says that you must be signed into the account used for your game account.

Now - for some crazy reason I used a different email address for this account to my 360 gamertag. Am I going to have to delete this account and make a new one with the new address or is there a way I can change the email address?

I logged into my EA account and that uses the same email as my 360 tag so that should be alright but I would like to change the email here to match the others.

Mass Effect Galaxy costs £1.29 in the UK, so probably around $2 in the US. I have yet to buy it but many say it takes between 1-2 hours to complete. The gameplay is okay but the story is what sells it apperently. At the moment I have no clue what you get as a redeem code, I to want to know before I but it.  XD

To be honest, I don't find the gameplay as bad as most do. I mean, it's not brilliant but it's not terrible either  - it's a tilt based control scheme and you have to move Jacob into a position where he can shoot (he shoots automatically)

Cost-wise, it's not much probably £1 (about $1-$2) - I'm not sure of the current price myself.

It takes about 2-3 hours to finish and reward-wise, all we have been told is 'Talk to Jacob about it in ME2'

Personally I think it'll affect his alignment and you might get a weapon or something. It's not gonna be huge, as the game doesn't cost that much.

Same I want to get all the bonues I can because I cant get many no dr peper codes in UK, unlikely to get CE and am unlikely to pre order from a place with bonus codes. So if this isnt somthing good I may aswell skip it.

The reviews on IGN make it sound crap though.

The guy above thought it may just e an alignment chang, not worth it if hs true. Its not confirmed but I want armour for my shep it adds more customisation.

Nope, I just bought it and put in my social account info and it did not show up anywhere.

No it's not in my game promotions page - however i don't think it would be anyway because it is not tied to your gamertag or your Bioware Social Account. It is tied to your EA account which is totally different.

Same here. I played and beat galaxy but I dont see anything either. My guess is it'll be a new costume for Jacob.

No you can also get it on an ipod touch. the game is quite fun with some hilarious writing, especially with the krogan merc. The controls can sometimes act weird but they work well. worth the 2$ i payed for it in canada.

For the cost of 1.89€ it's a pretty nice game.. it has the "feeling" of Mass Effect but it's made expecially for iPod Touch/iPhone (tilting to move and touchscreen).

I've just finished it on my bro's iPod Touch and entered my EA/BioWare account e-mail and password and it told me that my reward is already waiting me in Mass Effect 2..

As for now here, on the game promotions for ME2, it shows nothing.. but I'm confident and waiting..

When you create an account here you create an EA Account if you don't link it to an already existing EA Account, as under the hood all accounts here are EA Accounts. If you have a separate EA account which is what you used to redeem some content you need to be careful you don't end up with content spread across two EA Accounts, a situation only EA support can resolve.

If there is nothing yet tied to your account here you could simply just login with the email address associated with the other EA account and create a new username and just let your first account drop into obscurity. If you want to keep your username you can contact EA support and have them merge the two accounts.

I don't think the Galaxy promo is showing up yet.  I did use the same email and EA account that I have registered here and I don't see it yet.
