It says that you must be signed into the account used for your game account.

Now - for some crazy reason I used a different email address for this account to my 360 gamertag. Am I going to have to delete this account and make a new one with the new address or is there a way I can change the email address?

I logged into my EA account and that uses the same email as my 360 tag so that should be alright but I would like to change the email here to match the others.

I'm sorry, I don't really understand. The Redeem Code page isn't new, the only thing that's new is they added the ME2 logo. Which I can only assume signifies that ME2 codes can now be redeemed - but the page itself is the exact same page the DA:O codes were redeemed on back in November.

Also, ME:Galaxy gives no code for you to redeem, so what does it have to do with this page?

The email address you used for your gamertag is irrelevant. When it says "make sure you are logged in to this site with the same email address that you are using for your in-game account", it means your BioWare Social account, the one you're going to log into from inside the game. By rights, your BioWare Social account should be linked to/have the same login details as your EA account, as it should have asked you if you already had an EA account when you signed up here.

I think the redeem code section on the site is for a Dr.Pepper promotion code exclusive to the US. The Mass Effect Galaxy item claims it is already waiting for us in Mass Effect 2. Maybe something to do with the Cerberus Network.

It's for all redeemable codes. Terminus Gear, Inferno Armour, Collectors Gear? I'm not sure if the Dr. Pepper stuff gives you codes to redeem or if it just does some voodoo magic and interfaces with your EA/Social account automatically.

OK so I was under the impression that at some point a code would be emailed to us.



Clearly I was wrong - this is my new account now with matching emails to EA/XBL etc. so hopefully all should be good now.



And the redeem page IS new...if you go to the main mass effect website, the tab has opened up there, I only linked it to here because clicking the tab at the ME site came here.

Again, no it isn't. It's been there for months. The link on the ME site is new, sure. But the page is not. On the left, here at BioWare Social, go to Profile, then Redeem Promo Code. It links to the same page, and it's an option which, again, has been there for months.

The only new thing is that now you can use it redeem your ME2 codes. Hence them linking it from the ME home page. But it isn't a brand new page or system. It was used for all the DA:O codes, same as it now is being used for ME2. Things like the Blood Dragon Armour, Shale, the Memory Band and the Promise Ring, and quite a few other preorder bonuses. Where else were those codes redeemed?

The redeem page is NOT new. Its been here since DA:O redeems. The only "new" thing is a new picture to show what codes are now able to be redeemed.

Yes I know the redeem bit here is old news - I meant the redeem tab had opened at the ME2 website and that it had changed here.

I think we're all agreeing on the same thing here but it's my fault that I wasn't clear enough originally.
