We already know that party members might leave if they disagree heavily with one or multiple of our choices but that shouldn't be the end of it.

There should be an event where we either get the chance to recruit them once again if we carefully choose our words or have to fight them as they joined an opposing group.

... or have to fight them as they joined an opposing group.

Well that could already happen at the end in DA2, so there's a chance it could happen here.

And Morrigan would come back to make her offer at the end of the game if you booted her out, I believe.  As would Anders to do his thing

I wouldn't be averse to seeing more of it.

It'd be interesting. Step on someones toes so much they go and join whoever they view as the next best thing.

Unfortunately, I will have killed anyone who isn't willing to grant me absolute power over them.

I generally like the idea but always felt killing them at the end of da2 never felt like a big enough moment. It was just kind of like "hey you're an ass."  "Ya? well **** you, dick!' "well, **** you 2!" Then you kill them and they become a bag of loot just like every other nobody in the city. But if we were given a chance to like spit on their body or maybe close their eyes or whatever, and maybe turn the fight with them into sort of a mini boss battle I think that would make it much more interesting.

Bound by flame did this with a companion based on a choice earlier, where they attack you and then run off. Later they come back to try to kill you and it turns into like a duel. The fight ends with the pc winning(obviously) and strangling the companion to death. Even though I did not find that companion particularly compelling(it likely wouldn't be so in a bioware game), I thought that fight and moment were really well done.

Mook: Hey, you tried to kill me!

Inquisitor: Sorry :crying:

Mook: Can I join you again, plz

Inquisitor: Sure - heh, heh

As long as I can kill Cullen, I'm OK with this

That right there sounds pretty amazing though I would hate to end up losing a companion and having to fight them adding something like that to fighting them would be amazing and make it feel more important than cutting down another faceless foe it would feel like it had weight to it. Though I think your reaction to your fallen ex follower should be your choice and not something the game assumes your going to do. So in short I approve  :wizard:

I would like that, rather than the usual "goodbye player, meet you on your next playthrough, hopefully we'll get along then" crap.
