DAI looks incredible thus far but the only thing that worries me is the hair. Sera's hair look's kinda funny, then now Cole's hair is like haystack. Just honestly interested to know, will their hair be improved?

Personally the hair looks fine for most characters, except for the two you mentioned (though I from their characterization, I can understand the mess of hair). I just find the lack of lengthier hair disappointing.

Mate its hair. Its not a big deal bad hair is not something that should worrie you.  It not going to kill the game hair looks fine but cole needs a haircut.

I have no issues with the hair on Sera or Cole looking messy. Actually I have no issues with Sera's hair at all but I do with Cole's hair. Cole's hair to me looks very low res in some parts. I have no issues with the actual hairdos themselves.

 

Also, it is not about killing the game. It is about the finer details. The character models look better than ever and some of us want the total picture to be complementary. It is the same way with Bioware's former nemesis hands. If the entire model looks great but the hands look completely out of place, is this also something which shouldn't be worried about? The better a game looks the more it should be expected that everything looks better.

Sera's hair paired with her eyes... you know in my perception this is how ****** looks like. don't know why, just have this feeling.

 

other than  that, Cullen lost something in his looks and as a character, again because of hair i think.

Engines have a hard time with hair that isn't basically hand-crafted. UE3 had the same problem, and now FB3 has it too. DA:O's heavily modified Aurora engine had the same problem.

I had hoped that this would not leak so early but this is a key game mechanic that will make perfect sense once the game is released.

 

Naturally the screenshots so far shared are from the early game prior to significant levelling.

A quest to the glade of barbers and hairdressers outside of Val Royeaux with its mystical waterfalls of coiffure caress will unlock the Captivating Bouffant skill tree.

 

 

The skill tree features 4 levels, the first 3 are passives:

• Scruffy
• Bobbed
• Waved

Each one delivers different levels of distraction to enemy combatants.

 

The final activated iteration of the skill tree is:

• Flicked

Which as well as distracting enemies flicks wisps of hair in the enemy combatant's eyes.

 

Naturally so as to not give away this key skill line in early marketing, character head shots are displayed with the shaggy roughness of a wart hog
prior to this skill tree being unlocked. Leliana wears a hood because her copper locks are a quest plot point involved in the skill tree's reveal. 

 

It's all planned. How could a quest line in Orlais not include hairstyle progression?

Im sure the hair wil be the worst for black people. Everyone else will get decent hair styles.
