Adept:  Human

Soldier: Collector Adept (because soldier build).  Destroyer would be favorite if he could dodge with DM on, and if DM didn't block most of the screen with all that weirdness.

Engineer: Human

Sentinel: Paladin.  Then Krogan (because lift grenades are too good)

Infiltrator:  GI

Vanguard: Krogan

I'm gonna give Huntress a shot with Disciple, wanna see how it works out. Of all the asari, the commando adept is the only one who prefers to keep her distance.

But you're right, for one of the frailer species, they sure as hell can do some serious damage. Most of them are also pretty much glass cannons, but it's the kind of character I like playing.

There are melee builds around for the Huntress. Personally I can't make Asari melee builds really work but they sure look like fun.

Disciple is OK for a themed run. I like role-playing and don't always take the best stuff I have. But if you like keeping distance consider Aedolons advice with the Claymore - a smart choke works well with that shottie.

I like most kits. I like playing with trashy weapons like the Scimitar, Mantis, etc at times as well. Warlord is the only kit that I just feel like a detriment to the team. Vanguard class is a love hate relationship for me.

I somewhat question the effectiveness of Claymore without the power of reload canceling. When I tried it with vanguard, the long reloading times were the cause of many deaths.

If you Pull an unprotected enemy with the Asari Justicar Adept, and then Heavy Melee, it sends them flying like Team Rocket.

You're on console? I thought console players can use TC to reload cancel even when it's on cooldown. Perhaps i'm mistaken.

Claymore certainly requires reload canceling to be truly effective.

PS3 scrub, to be precise :) From what I've understood, reload canceling is reserved for master race.

Could be wrong though.

Nah it can be done on console using... Well not really sure what XD

But it's certainly easier on PC.

Love all the Vanguards
Love all the Drell
Do enjoy the insanely strong TGI(Turian Ghost Infiltrator) from time to time
And last but not least the Valkyrie, whom I don't see a lot of for some reason.

Turian Ghost Infiltrator, Saber + Acolyte.

Currently it's the only class I feel comfortable enough in Gold as to be able even to save the day sometimes. People are right...it's insanely good :D

Nah Bro, you can reload cancel when an active power is on cool down, you just need to get the rhythm of it. So cloak, shoot, reload, tap cloak as the bullet is chambering and you should have a reload cancel.

You can also reload hide, but that comes a little later in your ME3 journey.

1. TGI (there I said it)

I don't care how cheesy he is, I really enjoy using him as a Sniper. Mostly with the BW but also with the Incisor or Jav sometimes.

2. Shadow

Full melee SS spammer with the Scimitar and Omniblade. Just love this kit especially against Cerberus.

3. Asari Vanguard

My first love

I have Claymore and Piranha as well. I tried running vanguard with Claymore, found out she works much better with Piranha.

Might give Huntress something else than Disciple. In fact, that is very likely. But I'm currently working my way towards Council Operative banner, which means cleaning Phaeston and Disciple out of way first.

Seriously, give her Claymore. All you need for the all-in-one wrecking team

EDIT: Read about you being on the console... Without RC things can be not dying as fast as they could but it's still a solid all-rounder kit

The top ten is -

1. Vanilla Asari Adept

2. Asari Huntress

3. Asari Vanguard

4. Asari Valkyrie

5. N7 Fury

6. Asari Justicar

7. Human Engie

8. Cerberus Defector Adept

9. Quarian Female Engie

10. Geth Trooper (Flamerless)

So generally the Adept Biotic leanings with a bit of Tech thrown in...

EDIT: a bit of generalisation added

I have to try something similar on the Saber. If it has any cons, it's the long reload anim.

Also, sorry if this is a stupid question, but... does this work with a class other than infiltrator?

Would it work with engie's drone, for example? Or Fury's AF? Or... pretty much any other class/ability, really.

Any active power on cool down should work. You can also do it with a light melee, side hop/dodge, or on dodge less kits just tap backwards/side wards as the bullet chambers. I think Invaderone did a "noob" guide on YouTube, look it up and you'll be RC'ing like a Boss in short order...
