My favourite kits are:

Quarian Female Engineer, Turian Sentinel, Vanilla Human Adept, Salarian Engineer, Geth Engineer, Awakened Collector.

My favorite kit is the Drell Assassin -- I love all the Drell, but this is the one that fits perfectly with my playstyle. You can play him very aggressive offensively, and he's awesome if you like to revive people (which I do). Drell speed + Cloak = Anyone downed anywhere on the map WILL be revived.

 

Second favorite is probably the Awakened Collector, because, you know, it's right in the name. I think Bioware should've sped up his "power up" animation somewhat, but he's a lot of fun to use, and looks awesome.

 

I don't really have a favorite class, because there are standouts everywhere.

Engineer: Vanilla Human Engie (firesplosion build), N7 Demolisher. Vorcha Hunter

Sentinel: N7 Paladin, Asari Valkyrie, Vorcha Sentinel

 

Overall favourite: N7 Paladin 

 

Haven't made an Adept or Vanguard yet, and I don't play Infiltrators or Soldiers often.

Side note, I tried missiling a swarmer on extraction last night. Failed miserably, sailed past and blew up a pile of Scions and Praetorians.

The Adept is my overall favorite class, as biotics are one of the principle aspects of Mass Effect that drew me to the series. I rank the various Adept kits in the following order, in accordance to my preference:

Asari Commando
Batarian Slasher
Drell Assassin
Human Alliance
Asari Justicar
N7 Fury
Awakened Collector
Volus 'Biotic God'
Krogan Shaman
Human Ex-Cerberus

I enjoy certain characters kits of other classes, yet I would still choose any of the adept characters over any character of any other class. Off the top of my head three of my favorite non-adept kits are:

Quarian Female Infiltrator
Asari Commando Vanguard
Volus Mercenary Sentinel
