Nope. MMORPGs are huge in scale, due to the limited finds and attention to game longevity they usually come with elements that annoy me. I hate MMORPGs because they remind me that they are MMORPGS

No. There's a large number of reasons, but the big ones:

* I like that Bioware games tend to be MY story, about MY hero. With an MMO, you are just one of thousands of heroes. Not unique or special.

* Money: Monthly fees or whatever? No way. I can't afford that. And these "freemium" ones are even worse.

* Time: I have twin toddlers, and a full time job. I can easily play games for an hour or so here and there, especially games that let me pause. But with an MMO, you HAVE to devote a certain amount of time in a single session. AND you can't just pause safely to get up and go deal with the kids. You have to get somewhere "safe" or whatever. No. I like turn-based games for that reason, but failing that, I'll at least take a game that lets me pause at any time.

No. I find that most MMOs fail to have the type of story that I need to keep me interested. Plus I don't like paying for something monthly since I may not play it constantly.

No, but supplemental party-based Horde mode MP like ME3 I would gobble up in a second.

There are enough generic fantasy MMOs out there.  Strip out the powerful single player storytelling Bioware is known for and I wouldn't look twice at it.

No. SWTOR isn't exactly a success. I hope that Bioware will never turn another IP of theirs into an MMO. I am of the believe MMOs no longer work and the future is in coop mode together with single player mode. Many MMO gamers already mostly level up alone and with instance matchmaking gamers it almost seems you are playing alone.

Just look at most MMOs which have come out in the last year and how gamers move on within a few months. Gamers leave when they see others leave and I believe coop mode with just your friends could diminish this behavior. Sorry but I have just come to hate MMOs in general because its strengths have been destroyed by gamers who were never interested in the social aspect but the bigger world. Even the person who coined the acronym is now making a game which even has offline single player mode, coop mode and an MMO mode. This way the vastly different gamers can all have their cake and eat it too witout having to cheapen the core strengths which started with WoW.

What if it is not the whole game just like a supplementary kinda on-line mmorpg spin-off to the main game?

Still no thanks, it would likely divert time and resources from the main game.

No way. I've never understood the "this IP is so popular and awesome, it should have it's own MMO!" mentality. Look at what happened to the awesome stories of Warcraft and Knights of the Old Republic when they went MMO.

Nope. No thank you. Hell no.

No. It being a main game or spin-off is irrelevant.

There are way better ways to implement multiplayer components if need be.

Nope.  I have no interest in that genre of gaming.  I don't necessarily mind multiplayer in other genres, but MMORPGs just don't have any appeal to me.

I would love to play ol with the bioware community it would be cool.

So why not just play SWTOR?

What would a dragon age MMO give you that that game wouldn't?  What separate (or overlapping) market would you see it appealing to?

No.

There are so many MMORPGs out there and nearly all of them feel the same. So no. I want to be the sole hero in a great story. Single player ftw!

Perhaps; enjoyed SWTOR for some time, but eventually not having Pause functionality made forward progress almost impossible. Depends on whether the storyline and ability to solo were worth the work for me to play.

No. If they made an MMO supplement for DA a la ESO, I would ignore it. If I found out they changed what we've seen from DAI and turned it into an MMO, I would crawl under my desk, lay in the fetal position, and weep.

Someone said this to me the other day thinking I would love it, much to their surprise my reaction was "NONONONONONONONONONO NOT EVER!"

I feel it would kill it for me and I play MMO's too.

Strangely enough, said conversation actually happened in an MMO...

Edited for extra emphasis on my feelings...
