I'm sorry if somebody asked it before. But is Solas' appearance already set in stone, or can it still change until the release? I would prefer his badass braid from the map stabbing concept art...liked it very much.

It can still change and Gaider suggested that what we saw in screenshots was not his fully completed design. No clue how much it would change, though.

Do you guys think he'll be taller than the average elf? Fenris in DA2 was tall for an elf but I'm not sure whether that was just a trait for him or they needed him to be due to animations or something?

 

Unless I'm just remembering him being taller than the average male elf...haven't played it for a good year.

 

I think Solas look's cool being bald but the braid would be pretty sweet (even at one point in the game)

No clue! We can't really tell so far. And Fenris definitely seemed tall for an elf; he was nearly the height of my male Hawke.

There is a couple of pics where they show his legs (dem thighs ) and he looks pretty tall to me(not 100% sure he is though). I also prefer him to be bald as well but we will have to see if they give him any hair.

I think a mohawk with a braid would look great on him.

Though not the hair in the concept art, I know most of you liked it but I really didn't, I'd much prefer them to be bald than have that.

Personal preference, of course.

 

I pray Cullen doesn't swoop down upon what should be Solas' Friday (it'll happen just to make me sad won't it?)

I really hope that things don't get nasty once we know all the LIs. People seem to feel really strongly about who they want and I see more than a few complaints about Cullen.

My guess I'd Gaider. I've always greatly enjoyed his characters and romances so Im hoping on this. If not, I'm sure who ever wrote him did an awesome job and my inquisitors gonna romance the shine off his bald head.

 

I'm sad!  I'm feeling a bit quiet because my posts are getting repetitive and, with lack of new info on Solas (and DHMG!), the only "new" things I have to add to the discussion are borderline inappropriate    I can't come up with any awesome innuendo like this ^^ so I'd just sound like a creep

 

Hopefully I'll stop getting distracted and actually finish a piece of fan art tonight and have something meaningful to add to the thread!

Oh it will. They are holding off on saying if romances will be gender blocked. So perhaps Solas may be strictly a m/m romance and Cullen a f/m romance. I know a lot of people will be upset if that is the case.

EDIT: I read in the Twitter thread that they were holding off on confirming, but can't find the direct quote so keep that in mind.
