Good! I WANT it to feel forced! I want the player character to not just be able to get everything done all nice and neat by themselves and regret not having one of their "experts" with them. I know it's annoying if you hate a character but hey, that's an individual player's problem.

 

Not sure that it would bother me that much to be honest. i will not take someone with me if i don't like tha character, so i would just live with it lol. But if it's MEGA important i would bring that bad boy with me. if it's just like when fenris slapped people around or Varric talking his lungs out, i would not care. I liked Varric and i thought that he would at some time regret killing his brother so, "Anders, go save da day with tou healzz" , But all to their own

Oh I wasn't arguing with you, just pointing out another possibility! He could be a renowned Fade expert that you're sent to find or he could just be some random apostate that happens to be the best of the best but you don't realize it. That first part was a reaction to you saying that all the companions are supposed to be the best, I was just reacting by saying that he really must be a seriously legitimate expert now that it's confirmed that all of the companions are amazing!

Whew! Well that's good cause I don't want to get into any arguments at all lol...yeah that's true all the companions are Amazing especially Solas!

 

 What I read just got me wondering and thinking 'What ifs" about Solas

 

He could be best of the best by teaching himself how to deal with the fade or someone else taught him won't know till we get more info...we need more info Bioware!

Haha I feel you! Thankfully I haven't disliked any character enough to want to never have them around and hopefully I won't in DAI, especially if it's really important to bring certain companions along.

 

As for Anders's healzz, even if I hated him I would have brought him because I don't know how I would have gotten through some of the fights without him!

Yeah your post was the first I heard about confirmation that all of the companions are meant to be serious assets instead of a rough gang of misfits! Was that something that was confirmed to be said at PAX?

It was something ladyInsanity said on her tumblr and I know she is the kind of person that goes with facts and not rumors I watch her on youtube and she is very serious when it comes to DA. I would put out the link but this site or my computer won't let me paste it

 

It's on the PAX panel info thread on page 2 that's where I got her link.

 

Hopefully what she wrote out is true...
