Yeah, I'm not really sure where that came from, but he was VERY EMPHATIC about it.

 

Also, below the Inquisitor are some pinkish blocks, and he said it was the Inquisitor's sash. So I said that the Inquisitor's sash was red, not pink. And he looked me dead in the eye and said, "Maybe YOUR Inquisitor has a read sash, but MY Inquisitor will wear pink."

 

I hope Solas is ready to be part of the Pinkquisition, because here it comes.

I'm kind of on the fence about that, honestly. I let him play DA2 because I'm a pretty laid-back mom, and he really only had the patience to play the very beginning up to recruiting most of your companions. Most of the stuff I was worried would give him nightmares didn't look particularly threatening so I let it slide.

 

But with the new engine . . . I'm not sure. I cannot even IMAGINE the screaming fit that would ensue if I said he couldn't play it.

 

I'll just have to wait and see when the game comes out. If it's not too much more bloody/scary/violent than ME3 multiplayer, I think I'll let it slide. But it'll depend.

 

But shhhhh, we won't tell him that. Imma just encourage him to draw me more cute pictures of Solas and the Inquisitor for my fridge.

Haha I'm not saying I wouldn't enjoy it if it was done well or that I would hate Solas for it (I still like Anders), it's just that it would definitely be a case of "oh, here we go again" rather than an exciting twist.

Starting to agree that this is just a nice, fun thread. I like it. Also massively impressed at how much fan art the Solasians are turning out.

So, one of the few confirmed things we know about Solas is that he's a Fade expert, right?
 
This makes me wonder if he's just very well-versed about it in a book sense or if he spends/has spent a lot of time there.

 I think it would be interesting if he came from the Orzamar circle. Have they made that canon?
And the dreamer thing is a third option, too.
 

Do you guys think he'll be taller than the average elf? Fenris in DA2 was tall for an elf but I'm not sure whether that was just a trait for him or they needed him to be due to animations or something?

   If Fenris was taller it was likely due to being an LI and the animations, so we may see that again. I know that was a reason behind the lack of dwarven romances.
