Everyone is talking about him in the context of a Love Interest, lol. I actually think it's a bit of an accomplishment on Bioware's part that the love interests aren't immediately obvious. None of them have a stereotypical "love interest" look to them that's been consistent across all of their games since Neverwinter Nights.

 

He looks fairly old, though. i think it's the fact that his jaw is almost nonexistent. Love the design on him though, next to Vivienne he almost looks like a homeless bum. A practical one, but homeless nonetheless. I wonder what their character banter will be like.

 

True, but Bioware has always gone the humans and elves Li route in the DA games, and since he is the only male elven companion so far, what are people to believe lol

He only really looked old in one piece of concept art. He definitely doesn't look all that old in his screenshots.

I really want Varric too, but the way I see it Varric makes an AMAZING bro character. If he remains a bro character, I guess I can't really complain, can I?

I was actually just thinking about this! We have no clue what color his eyes are.

 

I'm imagining grey or blue, just because we've had multiple brown eyed male characters and both elves in DA2 had green eyes.

Haha... There was a time when I would have been part of that celebration, but not anymore.

Your art looks wonderful so far   Also, I think this screenshot shows a hint of blue or slate grey. The colors in this shot were all wonky though, making Cass' hair look orange/red.
