You two are amazing!!  Salz, maybe this is a strange reaction but I instantly imagined myself in Chesire Flemeth print PJs And Quory, Solas doesn't appear to be wearing any stockings?   This is one very acceptable alternative to long underwear.

 

I see young(er) Billy Corgan when I look at Solas. Then I want to listen to the Smashing Pumpkins.

Hey, anybody got a good screenshot of Solas's body?  Not for pervy reasons, I'm trying to draw him and this is... an issue.  I mentioned I'm horrible with anatomy, right?

I keep trying to do something dynamic or interesting with his body pose, but... it's just like hardly anything fits the face.  Meh.  I'll post the face, for now.  I was just trying to make a cool sketch... was going to add in the Inquisitor and maybe some captioning.  But I'll share his face, because it's late already and I should really stop.

Honestly, I've just been using everyone else's art/what few screenshots we have or just winging it as far as references, really (I'm not that great at anatomy either, worry not )

My original idea was that Solas and the Inquisitor would be crouching or sitting next to each other, and Solas would be in his long johns and undershirt.  And the Inquisitor would be like:  ... Seriously?  You're going to adventure wearing that???  Hence Solas's very... disapproving glower there.

Oooh he looks kind of dangerous there!   Now I'm imagining him giving someone an icy glare after they hurt the person he loves the Inquisitor, before he literally encases them in ice.  Awesome work!

There's not any more Solas/Dragon Age art there, yet... but, I do have a Deviant Art gallery.  The best anatomy there is in my scraps section, on a sketch I did last night of a character of my own.

You know, I wonder when the devs corrected everyone about Solas being a "somniari," if the "ancient elf" theory might turn out to be right?  Because, well, then he'd be a sleeper.  Not a dreamer.  Hm.

 

But I don't think it would be true, even if it would make him among the Best of the Best.

Despite his being a mage, I suspect his origins and abilities will be far more mundane.  I can see him being an exceptionally skilled mage.  Who travels in his long johns.  ... You know, if he were a Dreamer, I would gigglingly stick him in the clothing that looked the most possible like pajamas, and if possible, make it all striped.  I can't be the only one who'd think that would be hilarious...
