So. I finished the prologue of KoA and took another couple of screenshots of my lookalike Solas, finally under the sunlight. Shirtless. Buff and with a bit of chest hair too.
Should I share them?

The pijamas are there to hide his glorious body, lest he would be constantly chased by all the ladies and gentlemen in Thedas who would like a piece of that fine elf.

How will we bump into Solas? Hmm... I'm going to try hard to be serious here and offer up my baseless speculation.
Our Inquisitor's story begins with the Fade ripping open and essentially destroying the existing Inquisition. Our Inquisitor frantically tries to flee the Fade monsters and, in a moment of desperation, does something that closes the tear and saves her life. Solas has been investigating the thinning of the Veil (from inside or outside of the Fade, I'm not sure) and will witness the Inquisitor's mysterious feat. As an expert he thought he knew everything about the Fade and is intrigued by this unknown power, so he follows and observes her. At some point, the Inquisitor is faced with another Fade tear and can't figure out how she closed the first one, at which point Solas makes himself known to her and offers to help her rediscover the ability.
Now the not serious answer to "How will my Inquisitor bump into Solas?" Repeatedly and in a horizontal position, hoooooo

I really like the idea of him finding the Inquisitor too, it makes sense that an expert on the Fade would be interested in someone who's just manifested the ability to close Fade tears.
how we meet? No clue - I'll think of something, but why he stays? I think as a fade expert he takes special interest in this bizarre human/elf/dwarf/qunari who is somehow able to close fade tears. and the inquisitor is happy to have a fine view of that ass fade expert for help.

That idea fits with my feeling that he's been living in isolation studying the Fade. I imagine his thirst for Fade knowledge might be the only thing to overcome his need to remain hidden. Solas was described as awkward by the OXM article (I think), and "Hello, I've been secretly watching you for a while now... can you teach me your magic trick?" sounds pretty awkward to me

Ohhhh I suddenly so badly want to know who his VA is. Actually... I don't know if I want to find out. Waiting for him to show up on screen and open his mouth for the first time would be pleasantly suspenseful.

I can't help but think his voice will be a bit on the deeper side, maybe not too much so
I hope his voice is deep but not so mega deep that it sounds strange on him. Also I hope he has a bit of a "know-it-all" air to him but not enough that it's grating!

I confess, I kind of wish Brandon Keener (Garrus's voice actor) could miraculously be called upon to voice Solas as well. But I know it's not going to happen, because Solas will either sound French or English and Keener sounds very American.

I could actually picture Solas with a slightly nasally American voice. Every time I try to imagine what voice would come out of him I return to that. I'm having a hell of time finding a celebrity or VA for comparison though.

Garrus's voice is a product of Keener + flanging effects. Keener sounds different as different turians and more so as other characters. Well, I'd complain if Keener voiced Solas and then Solas wasn't romanceable. And yet, it would be like the devs to do something like that. Fan tears...

Mmmm Brandon Keener...I love his voice I could actually see Solas having an American voice just not Brandon's though... 
I won't be surprised though if he has a British or French accent which is fine!
